Went to both concerts. Both bands changed the setlist for a few songs!
The first concert, I was on the 5th row, the second, second row. 😎
It was my first time seeing WT live and I already knew they were great, but I absolutely loved them. Sharon and the band sounded excellent and the visuals and stage looked impressive. Their interaction with the fans was amazing to see and is something I wished Amy would do more. #epic show
Evanescence then, both shows were great. Really liked the visuals, it was a nice contrast with WT. On the second day, Amy's voice sounded quite tired. I was a bit worried, the tour is still long. She really seemed to struggle with the songs of TBT. She slayed Take Cover, Your Star, End Of The Dream and Far From Heaven though. Personally I would implement Blind Belief into the medley and have a full version of Part Of Me instead. Seeing Amy sing passionately the second verse together with all of us was for me my personal highlight (of the many highlights of the evening). Hands on your heart, who really thought we could make it this far..!! Might even come into the list of fave Ev moments live.
On the second night, the singer of Veridia (can't remember her name) and Sharon joined the stage for Use My Voice, legendary moment! It warmed my fangirlheart to see them hug.
On a last note, also liked Veridia, might listen some more tunes of them
Overall I really loved this World Collide Tour, I love both bands and it was awesome to see them together. It was a missed chance they didn't do something together, but I think covid still plays a huge roll in this..
