“We’re looking forward to going on tour this summer and bringing our friends, Evanescence, out,” says Jonathan Davis. “Whenever Amy comes to one of our shows, I always love seeing her on the side of the stage watching the whole set and rocking out. We’re gonna have a great time on this tour, and we can’t wait to see you there.”
“I fell hard into Korn’s music in high school,” enthuses Amy Lee. “It was an inspiration during the formation of my own band. The chances we’ve had to play together over the years are special, a part of our history. They remain one of the best live bands I’ve ever seen.
“It’s an honour and a thrill to go out with our friends again, our first full tour together since ’07. We’re all really looking forward to this.”
The tour – which also features special guests to be announced – kicks off in Denver on August 16, and wraps up in Ridgefield a month later. Tickets go on sale this Friday, April 8, at 10am local time.

That'll be great. I wonder if they'll do a duet live?

Cool that they did Freak on a Leash together but I'm kind of disappointed in the Ev setlist. I was hoping they'd change it up since it's no longer the TBT tour but I guess it makes me sorta glad I didn't invest in a trip to go since I've seen that same set twice already. Amy used to give us little set surprises but now it just feels so formulaic. A throwback or an acoustic rendition of a song or any real change would be so welcoming.

I bought a ticket hoping this would be the time they’d change it up and play something different… but they aren’t even playing the TBT songs I like and I hoped at least those songs would be a given. It’s almost entirely singles. If it were an album it’d be the greatest hits cash grab a band releases ten years into retirement.

I am bummed too, but not surprised. It's the same set as the tour last year with Halestorm but shorter. I am shocked with how much the lead from Korn praised Amy for the cover of Thoughtless that would make an appearance at least. I am excited for the medley, but no gonna like all those songs would be better off played in full not shortened. Could do without Wasted on You and Use my Voice. Those are my least favorites from TBT.. and I really was hoping for a heavier set to match Korn with things like Whisper, Disappear, Feeding the Dark, and Your Star (I mean come on the promo for the tour is Moon/Stars)

Ya know, I’m back to say that while the set list isn’t great, I just left the Charlotte show and DAMN this band never disappoints. Take Cover is fantastic live. It’s crazy how they took End of the Dream from where it was ten years ago to being the showstopper it is now. I’ve never been a big My Immortal fan, but she still makes this song special every time she sings it.
