I'm voting for The Killers. Sorry Ev, but UMV is the first time I genuinely dislike an Evanescence song. It's too bad it wasn't any of the other singles. Even from a music video standpoint, I didn't see the hype with this one. WOY and TGIO were much more creative and worthy of a nomination in my opinion.

Awards have barely any importance when you have zombie fanbases voting like a brainless crowd, nothing is about music anymore it's about what fandom it's bigger... It's pointless. Even music rankings like Billboard lost their relevance when you have BTS fans doing streaming and buying music just for sake of numbers, really, it isn't than deep, awards doesn't matter like 20 years ago, just chill... |

I also respect your voting decision, but this is an Evanescence fan forum and your reply was the only one on the post when I first viewed it, so seeing a fan say they "dislike" the song, they "dont see the hype", and that this song in particular wasn't "creative" or "worthy of a nomination" felt very negative to me and it made me sad. That's all. Not telling you how to vote or saying you're not allowed to have an opinion. Just saying it upset me. Amy, Tim, Troy, Will, and Jen worked SO hard on this album, and it's our first album of new music in like a decade. Evanescence isn't at the top of the charts anymore, and even though Use My Voice isn't my favorite track on the album or my favorite music video so far (Better Without You yasssss), I feel like I owe it to Evanescence to do my part to get them this award. I don't remember telling them they couldn't have an opinion? Could you point out where I did that for me so I know not to do it in the future? Luckily Evanescence isn't up against BTS for the Best Rock Video (that'd be weird) so we would have a chance if more people voted. |

Regardless if you like the video or not, awards shows are so meaningless now... What it'll do is bring Ev back in the spotlight. More publicity = more awareness = more fans = more $$ = bigger productions on tour.
