Wait...Evanescence aren't independent anymore? They're under the label BMI. Nope, they are independent artists, they own all the Phonographic Copyright and Copyright of The Bitter Truth and Synthesis. They aren't signed with any label in the way they were with Wind Up Records, their relationship with labels are only licenses to distribute the album: Universal Music in Japan, Columbia/Sony Music in Europe and BMG for US, Canada and Brazil. Also BMI isn't a label, it's a organization related to music rights management. The Bicycle Music Company, Inc still owns the Copyright of the Masters of Fallen, The Open Door, Evanescence and Lost Whispers.
