This is sort of what I was expecting and hoping when the album was announced. I hope Amy releases/develops some of these ideas as to continue with this era! Lots of artists are releasing like remixes so that could be cool and a way as to not leave this era with just dropping the album and such.

It's cool to hear the band/Amy working on the album, see their song ideas and how they involved from the demo to the final product.
"Without a Sound" sounds like something that we would've gotten from the Lillywhite sessions. It has some Halfway Down the Stairs vibes.
"Smurfs on Fire" is definitely TBT-ish. I wish it was longer. I hope it will see the light of day and that it's one of the songs that they have full structures and drums recorded and it will get finished at some point. "On My Own" is playing in my head on repeat now!
Are those songs any indication of the next direction (for her or the band)? If so, I would be happy.

I really need Avocado Cream in my life! Hopefully Amy/the band finish these songs and I'd be so in if the band continued through this route, after all Ev's sound can be anything that Amy wants it to be.

Teleportation and On my Own: Electronic stuff YES! Those sound like they could be from Amy's solo stuff.
Getting a little bit of Aftermath vibes.
Avocado Cream: This is SO good. So very good. Amy's voice and that melody are so ethereal it hurts.
It reminds me of Ev's early 1998 demos somehow.
Smurfs On Fire: That ''in your face'' TBT vibe is here and that riff OMG! I would die to hear a complete version of this.

So much electronic stuff was cut, I guess as it's on this cassette it'll never be released Well, remember, Amy did say that the songs start out very electronic and then she beings the guys in, so everything in it's early stages are going to be/sound like ballads or electronic stuff.  |
