I know for a fact that there are alot more demos and unreleased songs out there. There are also tons of demo CD's and scrap material. I will do my best to find out about this, but its hard to reach out sometimes and replies are slow.

I will do my best to find out about this, but its hard to reach out sometimes and replies are slow. Well yeah, that's obvious, but we have no idea what the titles are and how many there are. There is at least one more demo of: Imaginary (I think this is in the MOF videos) and Everybody's Fool (as per the MOF videos). There are at least 2 or more of: Whisper (Definitly a lot more than the 2001/2002 one we have, as per the strings outro from the MOF videos and any after that as you don't get somethind SO epic from the demo's we have and the snippet we've heard), Going Under (this was stated in one of the MOF videos where Dave Fortman was saying use this from 1, that from 2, and that from 3) and Farther Away (sorry but the demo we have just doesn't jive with the b-side version and the demo isn't as epic). There are obviously TOD demos and Ev3 demos (though probably not that many are recorded). Amy has even said that there are songs in their discography that even the biggest Ev fan wouldn't even know about. It's just a matter of getting our hands on them! UGH! Haha! I think the demos (2001-2002) that we have are the ones that were recorded when they were living in Memphis, when Pete moved them up there, and while Pete was trying to get their sound out there to various record labels by taking Origin with him. I want those version of BMTL with the different chorus... Just to see how they sound. |

Newer stuff can be tricky, cause i only have information from when Ben was in the band. I have asked Ben's mom to have a skype conversation with me when she has time, but i can't guarantee anything. She had a tendency to be really friendly and "accommodating" at times, then and all of the sudden she just dissappears and never replies. Its been awhile since ive heard from her, but the other day she emailed me again, saying she wanted to get to know me before she talked with me about EV and all the material. I emailed her again yesterday, so hopefully it will all work out. I've also talked with Debbie, a friend of their family, but she doesnt know that much about the music. She only knew the bond the two have, and im not really into digging into that. As i said to them; I'm not here to dig, im curious about the music and exactly how it all went down. I think the most of us can agree that privacy, is privacy.  |
