The whole vibe reminds me of Bjork actually. She plays by no one’s rules. Kinda thought of Bjork too, pagan poetry came to mind I dont know why. I actually thought of that video too. I think it's something to do with the seemingly random way it's shot mixed with the effects. I'm very interested in seeing how it'll pan out.

The song is at #7 on iTunes US. That's brilliant and I hope it sustains and picks up momentum. It's harder hitting and rocky. Very different and familiar at the same time. The video views on YouTube are at 324k and compared to WOY which hit 249k in two months, this song is being received better, although the audio for WOY can't be found when looking on Ev's YT 🤔 so I don't know if that affected the views for WOY. Bit disappointing that the song is falling off slowly on iTunes UK.

Now that I've listened to this so many times, the mixing isn't actually that bad. It isn't as loud as the previous record. I did play it on my speakers and it sounded fine but I need to do that again and observe my judgement.

This is interesting from Amy, we still haven't heard the original first single
"No, this was not intended to be the first single. That song is still to come!"

This is interesting from Amy, we still haven't heard the original first single "No, this was not intended to be the first single. That song is still to come!" I do wonder what this song is. Eric D Howell did mention there was a song which he thought was a masterpiece and their best work of yet. I actually think this song is one of their best. If anyone has stereo widener preset (Huawei music app phones does) use that to listen. And the video - it's brilliant. With what they had to work with, I love it. I actually want them to continue with the home videos for this album. It would help them save and potentially use the money on other things like promotion. Again no sign of this song on radio yet. They are doing well but they definitely would be massive if they can just get promotion. Is it worth us fans helping them out and doing this for them?

I thought the video was better than most the their usual performance videos. I loved the graphics!

I love the video! I can relate so much and the imagery is beautiful. Definitely one of my favorite videos they've ever put out.

Put most of my thoughts on Twitter, but I'll try and put them more coherently on here.
I definitely enjoyed listening to the song and I thought the video had some good moments. Amy in the woods with the mask and Will's green screen moment with the plank above the canyon were both really cool, but the video generally felt chaotic and incoherent to me - which may have been intentional so it may make more sense to me after hearing the song a few more times and applying the lyrics to what's in front of me. Not a fan of the colours though. The music felt dark and angry whilst the colours were bright, transparent and, well PR Brown... the dichotomy just didn't resonate for me there - as much as I love a good paradox.
Like Wasted on You, I absolutely adore the mixing on this track. Everything punches through so clearly and while the compression is there, it doesn't feel overly engineered. The tone on the bass and guitars in particular is to die for and that alone almost saved the song for me, which bodes well if they release another one that has a similar emotional impact for me as Wasted on You did, but with a similar heaviness and drive to TGIO. The highlight was definitely the breakdown kicking in. They set that up so well and it was so unexpected coming from Ev (they do have breakdowns in Ev3, but nothing like this), it kicks in, I start headbanging and then it just... ends. Definitely feels like they could do so much more with that and I hope they do live because I could definitely mosh to that! \m/

Amy talked to the fans in Youtube's chatroom before and while the video premiered, here are her words:
- Like WOY, we self- filmed this in quarantine. But this time we didn't want it to look so self made. We wanted to make a real art piece with FX and we all spent about 3 weeks filming separately... a big theme in the song is about holding in your true self- hiding it from the outside world to protect ourselves, or others from our deepest struggles, and big parts of our honest, raw selves... So each of us had a private confessional with Paul (director), about our individual demons- the monster within, the struggle, the thing we can't contain. None of us knew the other band member's theme. ....until seeing the edit. When you watch the video, you'll be seeing each of us in our individual struggle with what lies within.
- No, this was not intended to be the first single. That song is still to come
- We all wrote the bridge together. And no, this is not an old one from the pile. This was the first song we wrote for this album when we got together last year and set out to write. - ordered wrestling mud online for that mud surrounding my face shot! lol - Somebody called the cops on me running through the woods at night filming the running... scared the shit out of me when they showed up! - Will covered his whole garage in white paper to make a green screen for his shots - We're proud of it! It was a very interesting and unique challenge and I loved doing it. - The dried clay on my face was REAL CLAY not a face mask and it took 45 minutes to dry and hurt a LOT! I only did it once, so glad we got to use it.

- . I think this explains a lot about why the video feels a bit disjointed. I was looking for an individual story, but I guess we're seeing 5 different demons

No matter what, I appreciate what band members do almost with EMPTY hands, to give us something and let this album happen according to the plan. Everything aside, for me this is the most beautiful part in the both released videos so far. Of course this video is not Everybody's Fool with Amy wheelieing a race bike or Lithium with a pond in a frozen forest or WYW and falling from Brooklyn bridge... but to be honest I find something even more beautiful in it.
