It's perfect, because they can't do much, so they basically had to make a video about that... which we can all relate to right now. This is such a unique and special moment in that way. We all can 'feel' music in different ways, but this song with this specific video at this time is something a lot of us are going to connect with in almost the exact same way. I don't think it could ever happen like that again. I was so excited to see Tim's family. Dani and the kids are so beautiful. <3 Also, Amy sing-yelling at the computer is a MOOD. I'm so in love with this band. yes this! I couldn't have said it better myself.

The video is so dang relatable, and I’m glad they went with it cause we get to look back years from now and remember these crazy covid19 times. I absolutely love the song, and I’m so happy to be an Evanescence fan right now. <3

I've got to say, watching the song with the video has made me appreciate the song in a whole different way. Definitely coming round to it. It's catchy as hell, I think there's a part of me that is disappointed because the song isn't what I want from Evanescence - I always like them best when they're at that really ethereal place, which this song doesn't really have for me. I'm definitely starting to appreciate it for what it is though, rather than just disliking it for what it isn't.

Definitely a little light a dreamy, which I think fits the song well and juxtaposed against the weight of the band and the lyrics makes it that much more meaningful. BUT that's just me.

Okay, I've had a bit of time to listen to it more and gather my thoughts.
This was one of those where for me personally, it was a case of "right place, right time". I'm a natural introvert and with that I'm usually most comfortable going about my own life in my own home at my own pace. As soon as I found out I was being furloughed, I couldn't believe my luck. In many ways I'm living the dream right now, being paid to sit at home and get on with all of the little projects I've had on the backburner for years, I couldn't be any luckier really, especially compared to how so many others are struggling.
And yet, for some reason I've been feeling more and more empty and like my life's lacking in any real direction. The fact that I feel like that despite knowing just how lucky I am right now makes it worse, because I feel like I have no right to feel unhappy with the hand I've been dealt. This video, and all the conflicting emotions it portrays, the fun family time, going out on the bike, sitting under trees reading and enjoying life versus the tears, the sitting at home alone, and mourning the loss of someone who was very close at a makeshift shrine. So much of that rings home true to me. The music and the video twists and turns and doesn't even seem to know where it is and yet when everything connects, all I'm feeling from it is a pent up well of emotions waiting to be released. Evanescence have somehow taken everything I can't seem to make sense of and they've reflected it back at me in a way that says "you're not alone". And that's why I love everything about this song.

This song deserved a better video, fuck 👑 really. This video made me think it would be interesting if they filmed themselves during all the recording process and release it later as a documentary. Could be interesting. I'm surprised anyone feels this wasn't the perfect video for this song. In my opinion this is by far one of Evanescence's best music videos. Far better then their last video for The Chain or Imperfection. I honestly feel like this is in my top 5. I have never seen the band members so pushed to the forefront before in such a raw and beautiful way that we can all relate to in our lives today. We are all going through this pandemic together. The cinematography was spot on, and they did this themselves! I am so proud of this band!

I completely understand why PR Brown leaves a bad taste in most fans' mouths after the Synthesis contest, but the man has a great art style, granted changing his approach to videos would be nice so we can see what else he can do. I don't cringe or get upset if I see his name attached to anything he does for the band. I SUPER enjoyed the raw emotion this video conveyed, and he did a great job with the cuts. And no filters!!

I'm surprised anyone feels WoY isn't the best single they've releassed in a long, long time, but to each their own, some fans are very disappointed. I prefer this video over Imperfection, the chain, hi-lo and pretty much every video out of Ev3, I think Ev's vídeos have gone downhill after TOD. This video to me is a little better than all of those. Still not at the level of pre-Ev3 stuff. Not that I am surprised though, I had low expectations given the circumstances, so I give them props for being creative enough to put together a video about self-isolation and all the worries around the virus. What I did like about it was what you said about everyone getting their time on the spotlight, not just Amy, I got the impression they were going down that route with the chain already, but of course this one is more personal. I hope they keep going this way but with propper production and hopefully bring back some other TOD directors. But if they keep working with Brown I hope he takes this approach over all the repetitive red patterns and cheap looking effects from his previous clips.

I think I've listened to the song enough times now to sort out my thoughts:
I really want Ev to go in a dark electro direction, so the verses are a step in the direction I'd like to see them go in! Now they just need more drones
The band coming in during the chorus adds a good punch
The lyrics are standard Ev, none of them blew me away.
The bridge is the best part (surprise lmao)
Overall I enjoyed it a lot more than Imperfection and The Chain, so that's a relief. I look forward to the rest of the album!
Overall, strong 6 to a light 7

White is indeed quite common for things... I've always heard that American architecture is very "open" compared to other places, and white probably helps "open up" spaces. I just wanted to share this here from my Twitter because I thought it was funny XD WHAT! I can't unhear that now xD Oh god.
I LOVE YOU FOR MAKING THIS XD SENDING IT TO MY FRIEND SO HE CAN SEE HIS IMPACT

I feel honored and blessed to have seen a video like this. Filming in their homes with family is very intimate and personal; a side we don't always see from them as "rockstars". But when it comes down to it, we are all human and we are all going through this together.

We can all see ourselves in so many ways in this video.
