I also feel the pandemic and postponement of the tour will put her into the 'creative mode' again. The band will definitely turn to livestream concerts every once in a while. It makes me remember how Lady Gaga ended her Chromatica album cycle after the tour was cancelled and she did very little promotion due to the pandemic. But I feel Ev is trying to make the TBT era happen against all the odds. I'm not sure how long they can keep it going. We've had 4 singles with videos over a year, a tour would extend that but they've got a whole year to fill before that. Albums don't tend to get more than 4 videos, unless they re-release an extended version.

I know I'm aiming too high but yeah. Haha! Judging by past B-sides/outtakes, they ended up on different releases. Remember Together Again was released 5 years later and If You Don't Mind 7 years later. The intro Lost Whispers was released 7 years later too, though we've heard it live before. Wow, Ev songs take a long time to see the light of day. Still hoping for more Lillywhite material... haha. *fingers crossed*

I'm dying to hear this material that didn't make it to The Bitter Truth. Another song that I was very curious I heard some time ago, I hope she changes her mind and launches a studio version in the future.

I’d love an EP with the few extra songs, a brand new song (and released as a single) and maybe an old one from “the vault”. I love it when bands do things like that between albums, and this next year would feel like the right time to do it.

Deluxe albums are very popular now so we might get that.

Lillywhite material may come out on future releases but reworked because she wants to make it sound better than it originally was. She did it with Yeah Right (which was originally very electronic), FTD and Take Cover on TBT. I'd love to hear them in their original versions, but yeah Ev songs tend to have zillion versions (i.e. Imaginary, Whisper, MI, EOTD). I believe the only original recording from the Lillywhite sessions is the Chris Izaak cover, which credits Lillywhite and Will B. Hunt as producers. What song are you referring to that you heard "some time ago"? You mean Perfect Dream? That's the only actual song we've heard from that time. I mean, with lyrics and full structures, though as a preview. Going on topic, I'm hoping we'll see those TBT leftovers... but it might take forever, given we know how long Amy/Ev take forever to put something out. Haha!

Tim said that a song about his daughter did not make it to the album, perhaps it is a new ballad that will come out in the future.

Yeah, Swimming Home is the closest picture of how Ev3 would have sounded like if the label hadn't scrapped the original version. I believe it would have been very diverse, as Amy described it as having both amazingly heavy and stripped down songs. There might have another song dedicated to Robby, given Tim's latest interview:

Amy has a habit of saying one thing today and then saying a different one on the subject. At Kerrang she said there was nothing left and then she said it was left. She is capable of releasing Your Love in the future even though she says she would not (it is a good thing that everyone hears not only as exclusives). Now I think she can release a deluxe version of the album with those leftovers close to the tour.

Yeah I know, but he said "some of them were too close to Amy", implying there might be a song about her brother. There is no way she's going to release YL nor include it on a repackaging of TBT, because it doesn't fit the idea of the album. Also, she doesn't control its release and she's moved on from the song. People should refrain from asking her about it because she doesn't like it anymore. After the Kerrang! interview, she said there are at least three unfinished songs with full structures and band tracks that didn't make the cut on the album. So they will eventually get finished. I guess they'll soon see the light of day because the pandemic will force the band to finish and release them. And the tour is not going to happen until the pandemic is over... so to keep the interest they might put something new out.

I'm all for the three unfinished songs and the last of the Lillywhite material (at the very least Perfect Dream) being released on a Deluxe version of The Bitter Truth, or if Amy is really inspired, a Synthesis-like re-work of The Bitter Truth, with the completed songs/B-sides. Whatever the case may be, I really hope the sense of urgency Evanescence experienced in putting out a new record hasn't died down, and it'll be something we'll see sooner than later. 10 years since Ev3 to finally hear a few of the remaining Lillywhite songs is a concerning length of time to hold out for such material to see the light of day, especially in these times. I'm sure Amy will continue to be inspired and make remarkable albums going forward, so it really would be nice to stop yearning for the past and finally have these songs. It's a sad feeling when a new album is released and my immediate reaction isn't "YES!" but "where's Perfect Dream?" instead. Just my $0.02.
