I'm sure this has been posted before but I haven't seen any recent posts sooo I have to know;
What Evanescence song has helped you the most? Mine would have to be Going Under, Lithium and Lacrymosa.
I can't wait to hear your responses!

From Fallen: Tourniquet, and Imaginary From TOD: Lithium, All that I'm Living For, Good Enough Ev3: The Change, Lost in Paradise, (really this whole album was very relatable at that time in my life) and of course Imperfection...that song is an anthem for struggling misfits.

This is really hard because Ev has shaped my life and is part of the reason I'm still living and breathing today.
Where Will You Go literally saved me in a huge moment of weakness, and I thank whoever was watching over me that night for making that song play when I wanted to stop feeling for good.
I think, overall though, the song that's helped me the most is All That I'm Living For. I come back to this song all the time to reflect when I'm feeling lost in my life's direction or when I feel like I don't understand why I'm making the decisions I am. There's something about the line "...make me understand the lesson so I'll find myself, so I won't be lost again." that really resonates with me.

Missing was really helpful during my angsty, lonely teenage years. remember, I was in science class and I had lyrics floating around in my head and the line "Though I'd die to know you love me, I'm all alone" popped in my head and I realized that was essentially my life at the moment and the rest of the song's meaning just 'clicked'. I became obsessed with that song immediately after and anytime my depression was at it's lowest, I'd cling to that song. I don't know what it is about finding a song that describes exactly how you're feeling but it helps so much. Maybe it's realizing you're not alone? Or being able to put how you feel into words?

Forgive me for being cliche, but Bring Me To Life has helped me probably the most. 2002 & 2003 was a really awesome peroid of my life, and every time I hear that track, I am transfigured straight back into that zone.
Other than that, probably Haunted and Sick.

I think the songs that have helped me the most are My Immortal, Lost in Paradise and, more recently, Imperfection. It's hard to pick, though, as so many of Ev's songs mean so much to me.

I couldn't say that there are songs, that actually helped me to be honest. But there are quite a few songs I can really relate to, like 'Imaginary', of course, or 'Away From Me' and somehow 'The End Of The Dream'...
