It was such a well written article. it was more like a biography for Ev than an interview/article for Synthesis though.  My favorite part <3 Thank you Rarkphoenix! you're awesome! |

You rock, thank you for scanning and uploading! I'm extremely impressed by this article and the many ways Metal Hammer praised her and the band. I never expected that from them, lol.

I mean they're definitely one of the more open-minded examples of heavy metal journalism, but I'd been looking forward to this ever since I heard about it. No disrespect to Kerrang! but Team Rock and MH in particular tend to put a lot more thought into their research, questions and what they write. It's telling to me that the perk for Kerrang! has always been the bedroom wall posters whereas the perk for MH are the free compilation CDs with songs picked from up and coming artists. Kerrang! and Rocksound etc. are great for their support of Ev over the years, but personally I feel a lot of this is due to their target audience (mainly teenage girls/young women) loving Amy, so to even get an entry from a serious magazine like MH (let alone one focussing on a more extreme genre to Ev) is a pretty big deal. It's my fav music mag alongside SOS for these reasons. |
