Here we can discuss the Synthesis reworking of Secret Door. Turn out the light Feed the fire till my soul breaks free My heart is high as the waves above me Don’t need to understand Too lost to lose Don’t fight my tears ‘cause the feel so good And I will remember how to fly Unlock the heavens in my mind Follow my love back through the same secret door Look past the end It’s a dream, as it’s always been All life lives on if we’ve ever loved it And I will remember how to fly Unlock the heavens in my mind Follow my love back through the same secret door And I will remember how to fly Unlock the heavens in my mind Follow my love back through the same secret door Out of respect for those who are waiting for their show or for the album release to wait to hear the songs, I'm advising and please asking, if you're posting anything that will give away any great details to the song, please use spoiler tags. Thank you!

I've always liked this song but the electronics give it an added umph I think it needed.

The harp... ♥ I think I like both this and the original equally, though this one seems to be better engineered, and the harp sounds sharper.

I know not everyone has been crazy about this one (based on Twitter consensus), but OMG I LOVE IT. A lot of the changes are subtle, but I remember one time I heard a fan instrumental that emphasized different instruments than the Ev3 original and thought "Omg I kind of wish the version we got was more like this," and this one does it. Percussion sounds cooler, and my favorite part of the instrumentation in the chorus and bridge is easier to hear. (Pretty sure it's a really simple piano and harp melody.) I really like it!

I didn't think this song was gonna be one of my favorites of Synthesis, but it is!! The electronic elements really lifts the song and it sounds so cool. It's very Björk-ish (which makes me love it 50000 times more.)

The synths give this song just an extra something, it's great. I wasn't a massive fan of the song and it's definitely an improvement

After listening to Synthesis for many more times, I think this is one of my favorite re-workings. I'm obsessed with the harp sound, and the glissandos sound so much nicer in this version than in the original. Amy also does some little vocal tricks here which I think really fit nicely with the harp. I love it.

This is one of only two reworkings on Synthesis that I believe is completely without flaw. Imaginary is the other. The bouncing beat in the chorus just goes perfectly with it. The song is like... Burton-pop. I love it.

I, too am very pleased with this version of the song. I liked the TOD version, okay, but this is definitely a step up.
