Huh, we'll I'll be! That makes sense! Alright DoubleA! I do wonder why she never seems to mention any other song, other than Swimming Home and Made of Stone. P.S. Now that I look at that, what is up with this Zach Williams person adding/aiding Amy with the lyrics to My Heart is Broken? I noticed it a while ago, but I never really made sense of it. Do we know anything about him/his role with the Ev LP?

They should re-record and finish this session (with Lillywhite would be awesome) and release it as an independent project next year, while we wait for a fourth album.

If they re-done the LIllywhite sessions and released it as an independent work, wouldn't it still be considered an official forth album, just not under any label because it was independent?

Does anyone else think they reworked Stompin Steve for the album? I was listening to it last night and it seemed to remind me of End of the Dream. Actually, if they reworked Stompin Steve into End of the Dream that would make sense.. The lyrics are something about a 'perfect dream' right? So Perfect Dream, End of the Dream.. It could've worked.

I personally think they took beats from 'Stompin Steve' and reworked it into the beats for What You Want.

This whole Lillywhite era is a bit cloudy and confusing to me. Amy started off writing songs on her own, then with Tim, and finally with that Will Science Hunt guy. Was that material really heading towards a solo album and after some time she realized it was an actual Ev album afterall? But how could she thought it was since the main writers were her and Science? That's what I get from this interview anyway.
And then all of sudden they stopped the recordings because ''something'' didn't feel right. So, it was basically Wind-up not being a fan of the new songs? Was it Wind-up that made her release a rock album? Amy seemed really excited through the writing and recording process back then, she had even said that it was the best Ev album yet on twitter.
Anyways, sorry for my long silly thoughts.

^Perhaps Wind-up didn't like it, but maybe just making a solo album didn't feel right to Amy? Maybe she felt like she had to give the fans something new from Evanescence after the Brazil show?

Amy wrote stuff with "Science". I think she did Sally's Song with him and HDTS (not sure about HDTS). But she was writing with "Science" and she said something like "I think we just wrote an Evanescence album." She brought Tim and Terry in and they worked on it for a bit. Wind-up didn't like it so they told them to re-do it. That's when "Science" and Lillywhite left, and the other 5 got together and started writing.
At least this is how I remember it going down.

Anyways, sorry for my long silly thoughts. basically yes, Wind-up didn't think it sounded "Evanescence" enough so they made them go back and create a more rockier album that what some people describe as "generic rock sounding" (even though I like it) and thats probably why songs like Sick and NWTB were written Terry confirmed it in this interview:

NWTB was written closely (can't think of a better word) after TOD tour ended.

And I can't help but think that if they had made their albums quicker, she could've left them quicker Fancy being stuck with them for 10 years *shudders* I honestly have no idea what to think of their future now. I can only hope they find a record label that will appreciate them and promote them the way they should've been.

It is all rather confusing, but even if they made a record of unreleased stuff, like " Evanescence: From The Attic" or something like that, i would be happy. Or drip feed some onto ITunes. I Just wanna hear them in their entirety!!
