Another stompin steve enthusiastic here!!! wiiiii!!!! I hope they rework it, but without changing it too much and then release it, maybe between albums or something. It would be ideal if they called Lillywhite and all the crew that was working on it at that time to finish it with them, so it could sound the way it was supossed to sound. Tat song and all the songs from that period. Then they should release it between albums to keep us satisfied. My ultimate fantasy is for Ev to go back to the same people they were working with in 2009, but under a different label and finish what they started, and then release it as the fourth Ev album. I know it'll never happen.

I totally agree! But it's Amy, she doesn't think to satisfy us or build up their fan vase-it's just what she and the band wants:/ the only reason we got together again is cuz it was a fund raiser

if you listen really closely to Stompin Steve, there is a beat tht sounds like the background beat in What You Want, but slowed down in Stompin Steve. Well, at least i can hear one. I might be just crazy.

Talking about the Stompin' Steve song... I talked to Amy about it at M&G last night, I was like, 'Hey, play *name of the song revealed on EC*!', and then she was like, 'Aw, I can't, but you'd love it!'

Well, the song is unfinished. But it would be great if they could play it.

I wonder why they're unable to play it live.

Now i'm even more excited to hear the song. ;D Seriously, i think i've never been as excited about a song, and my excitement has lasted three years now, which is unheard of from me. I tend to really forget abot unreleased songs, like Your Love for example. It'd be nice to listen to it finally, but my excitement over it is nowhere near all the hype over "stompin' steve". And why can't they play it, by the way? Wouldn't they be able to play it live if they decided to finish it by themselves? I thought the main issue was to record it and release it officially, not playing it live. Except they don't have plans to finish it or rework it to play it live, and that's what Amy means by "i can't".

I think the same applies to "If You Don't Mind", it's an unreleased song, but it's being played live, WTF!? I actually joked about the Stompin' Steve song with Amy, I had to know her reaction about this amazing preview/song. I thought she would dance it with me, I was like, "Reaching above... *dancing*" and then she said she couldn't play it, but I'd love it.

Well, the song is unfinished. But it would be great if they could play it. My understanding is that the songs were all pretty much finished, they had song titles which usually doesn't happen until the very end. It may have not been 100% finished, but they were finished enough to play to Wind-Up and for them to reject it. It's probably like in "demo" stage, needs a bit of polishing and perfecting, but the song itself is complete.

I have a podcast of an interview Amy had where she said they have a lot of left over songs from these sessions, although she didn't say specifically they were from the Lilywhite Sessions, but the interviewer brought up a question that they were with another producer. She said (im paraphrasing) that they were probably going to save those songs for the next album. She also said that some songs from the Lilywhite Sessions made it onto the new album. Yeah. The songs that made if from the Lillywhite Sessions to Ev3 are Made Of Stone, Sick, End Of The Dream, Swimming Home and Secret Door. DoubleA, how did you find this out? I know of MOS and SH. And we were 50/50 the last time on New Way To Bleed (per, um . . . that interview we learned what NWTB was about? Um, right? The one where Amy couldn't remember if it was or it wasn't?) I haven't heard about Sick (I'd assume Sick and NWTB, both about anger at the label, would be post-Lillywhite, since (I imagine) it was in response to the label rejecting the Lillywhite songs?) EOTD people were assuming per the Stompin' Steve (real name) song connection, so I can see that. Secret Door is new for me. Do you think the TwitVids would be a good marker to go by? By the MOS Piano vid, we are already in Ev LP era songs right? So . . . MOS Piano, ET Drums, NWTB Bridge, Disappear Beginning, SD Chorus. Wow, an electronic Secret Door - I'm now really intrigued by that thought xD.

Hunt" Isn't William B. Hunt, Will "Science" Hunt? Amy worked with "Science" during the Lillywhite sessions right? So that's how I deduced that.
