Amy would leak the songs if she really loved the music and her fans... but seems she is more interested in sell music... i'm to disappointed about that but it's the truth....if she makes music for us, she would upload the songa... or at least they would release an EP in itunes with all the electro stuff... i'm really very sad if we never listen that songs
Not really. Technically they are under Wind-Up copyright and if she would leak them, she could get into a whole bunch of legal trouble, even though her name is on them. Plus, it's not Amy's fault things get leaked or things do not get released. It's Evanescence's manger (I think) who determines whether something is released.
Remember they're just demos and apparently some got reworked for 'Evanescence'. The demos for TOD were never leaked either so I don't see how this era would be any different.
Yeah. The one's that were re-worked and released on Ev3 were MOS, Sick, EOTD, SH, and SD.
^^I believe there was a discussion over this on the old Evthreads. People were saying that, for legal reasons, the only way the band could possibly release these songs was recording them all over again. But i don't remember well what was the issue, maybe someone else can explain it better than me. As a fan, i'd LOVE to own all the songs she/the band have ever written, if i were her, i would release Your Love, If you don't mind and all the unreleased songs including the ones from this session, but i have a feeling that Amy doesn't care that much for unreleased songs in general. Seems lke she just focuses on the album she's promoting and touring at the moment and doesn't really pay attention to the unreleased tracks. Oh, well, i hope they release them someday, maybe between tours or something, while they're working in their next album, like they did with Together Again. Something to keep us interested while we wait for the fourth album. Maybe? EDIT: LOL, i just saw the "rare CD" thread, What a bad person to do that to us! , haha, but it was funny to read the responses. I agree with the ones who said that the title screamed "fake". Why would they name the cd after the producer?
I as, a fan would also like the have all of Amy's and the Band's work. However, the band went into the studio with 19 songs, and ONLY 16 were recorded and released. So the other 3 of the initial 19, have no audio so therefore, there are no unreleased songs for this era; just unreleased lyrics... lol.
With the legal stuff, I think if they use the same producer with Wind-Up, they will be able to do them without re-writing. However, if they use another producer with the same label, the same producer with another label, or another producer with another label, they will have to re-write the stuff since it's technically Wind-Up copyright. Don't quote me on this because I'm not 100% sure, this is just my input from how I think it would go, and how logically, it would go. lol.
As for the demo CD that popped up that turned out to be fake: I don't think that person was trying to make "the Lillywhite Sessions" seem like a legit title. Amy has referred to the Lillywhite era as the "Lillywhite Sessions" so maybe that's what they (the band) and Ev's manager referred to that era as... Just throwing that out there.
Am I right in thinking that in a recent interview, Amy was saying how they were playing around with the idea of releasing EP's digitally or something because of the way the music industry is? I think that's a good idea because we might stand a better chance of hearing material that would usually be unreleased.
Where did Amy say this?

I don't save or recall every interview I watch or read, nor where to find them. Hopefully someone else can help you out.

^^Idk where she said that, either . I probably missed it, since i haven't been up to date lately because of all the ET drama. I as, a fan would also like the have all of Amy's and the Band's work. However, the band went into the studio with 19 songs, and ONLY 16 were recorded and released. So the other 3 of the initial 19, have no audio so therefore, there are no unreleased songs for this era; just unreleased lyrics... lol. I meant any unreleased song, not necessarely from this era in particular, just unreleased tracks in general.

Oh, i was so excited when i knew in 2009 that Tim, Terry and Amy were working on this electronic project that was going to be the third album by the band. Besides, Amy named Portishead, Massive, Depeche Mode, La roux and more artists as influences and i thought it was such a good step forward for the band to try something fresh and distinctive, to recreate their sound, especially with new members on board. Then, when they brought in Steve Lillywhite and uploaded those twitvideos, MAN, WAS I EXCITED? I think i've never been as excited to have an Evanescence record before or after that. I thought they were going to finally go all experimental on us ;D I was disappointed when they started working with Nick and went for a more straight up rock oriented album I mean, the new album sounds good, it's got great songs, some of my favorite from their discography, but they had something way more interesting in their hands than a simple straight forward rock album. There are tons of those everywhere already. They were working on something way more especial and unique. I still believe that that Stompin Steve song would be my favorite Ev song ever if i could only listen to the whole thing. Those few seconds of it sound more exciting than anyhting i've hared from the band since they started out. And yes, they need to bring back that intro! It's def better than the one they have now. I like the current intro, but that other one is just epic. No contest. Agree with you, I think so too, that electronic phase sounded cool and the material would be unique and distinctive, as you said. The new record is amazing and the best Ev album by now, but I think it doesn't follow that "I don't make the same record twice" dilemma thingy Amy said in 2009, it's only rock and more rock. (My opinion anyway ) Plus, I think Amy needs to back to the studio with Steve and finish the songs she worked with him in 2010 and release them as a "solo album". I can't forget to mention the Stompin' Steve song, OMG, that preview kills me of excitement every time I listen to it. We need to hear it in full!!!

That intro live is the best thing ever. I'm not even sure they played an intro at Rock in Rio, and if they did, it certainly didn't make an impression, since I can't remember it, whereas the 09 one I can still remember the chills I got

Like most others, I was beyond excited when I heard the clip of the Stompin' Steve song. I really wish they had stayed with that sound and made that type of album. Although I know that the label was against that which makes me furious. I really hope that Amy will use that in the future because that one clip sounds better the whole new album.
Also, I am a new Evclub member, can someone PM me to point me in the right direction of finding the name of the song?

IDK, I'm still in love with the "lost whispers" intro that they played at the Maquinaria Fest. That really sounded interesting and hauntingly beautiful. She said that it was in the half done bin so maybe they never reworked it. But If there's a song I'm desperately looking forward to is this one.
