There's a swapping noise, a cool thing, during the verses of Lose Control, kinda like if someone dropped the kick drum and let it sliiiiiiiiiip it sounds like this: (prrrrrrrrrrrrrrm)PUM PUPUPUM (prrrrrrrrrrrrrm)PUM PUPUPUM.
It's somewhat similar to the bass line, only that that one comes in during the second verse, and I can hear this sound effect during the fisrt one too. Have I mentioned I love Lose Control, A LOT?

Oh. lol. XD A Pap smear is when cells are taken from the Cervix, not the uterus, to check for cancer.  But when the doctor sticks fingers up there and pushes on your abdomen they're checking for abnormalities. Lol. Sorry. I was really confused as to how you deduced that it looked like a pap smear. lol. Now everyone knows what goes on when a woman goes to their annual gynecological check-ups! XD
But um, yeah. Just noticing, there's like this weird noise in "Sick". It's in the bridge between 2:26. It sounds like Amy is saying "K". lol. There's also this "glitch" on the last "closed" (3:04) that sounds like the click an iPod or iPhone would do when you're unlocking and locking the screen. I also noticed these little cool noises (the ones at the end) are extended as the song fades out. You can also hear the metronome and the pedal of the piano being lifted at the beginning of LIP. in regards to sick, the glitcjy chirp sound is played throughout the choruses as well. if u listen very carefully with good headphones u can hear it. it used to annoy me and thats sad cuz its one of my top favs from the album but "ive just learned not to hear" XP lol pun intendid haha I'm not talking about the glitchy chirpy sounds because I know those are there. They are also similar ones in Oceans. I'm talking about a sound at 2:26 that sounds like Amy is saying "K" or something. I remember when I first bought the album that I thought there was a laugh in one of the later songs but it was that "K" that I heard. And as for the sound on the "cl" in the last "closed" it sounds like the iPod/iPhone locking/unlocking sound. |

Just noticing.... we have a "making of" video for all the music videos except Everybody's Fool and out of all of them, thats probably one of the more interesting ones that I'd like to see how they made it. I wonder if one was made but just never released? Do we know who the director was?

I wonder if one was made but just never released? Do we know who the director was? I agree. It is one of the most interesting ones and I would love to see a "making of" for it as well. The director was Philip Stolzl. Everybody's Fool Video info. I just noticed the light drums at the beginning of Before the Dawn. Oh! and after "before I can see you y love" there's like this sound of water tricking! At least, that's how I can explain it. |

I'm talking about the beginning of the song. Around 0:05 for the faint drums that fade in. And the water trickling at like 1:15.Wait what are you talking about? Are you talking about BTD or Sick? No. There's a glitch in Sick when she sings the last "closed" of the last chorus. It sound like the sound when you're unlocking your iPod Touch/iPhone. 3:04 |

Has anyone noticed this at the end of End of the Dream? You will need to have your speaker or headphones turned up.
OMG! I just noticed a few awesome string part in MHIB bridge and that there is a metronome in the echoing "hold" at the very end! haha! Ive also noticed a few things in MOS too but they're very minute. A couple electronic things through out the song and something I don't remember right now. Haha! I got so excited about the metronome at the end of MHIB that I looked up from my homework, opened my mouth, gasped, and hurried to find this thread. haha! I'm such a dork when it come to noticing metronomes in music. I get so excited. Oh yeah! There's this weird noise in I think it's Sick that sounds like Amy is saying "K." in the background. lol. OOO! There's a wind chime in TOS at 0:30-0:31 and 1:30-1:31. Unless that's like a really long but light cymbal crash but it sounds like a wind chime to me. Plus Will had a wind chime with his drum kit didn't he? |

Ohh thanks  Do you happen to remember during which second is the last pic? 2:34 I think. When I watch the video in black and white and play with the brightness/contrast a bit, I can see the flashes a lot better... lol AeternusAmatorius, do you think you could PM me the picture, pwetty pwease? I can't see it because it said the poster has moved it or deleted it, and with people talking about it I really want to see. :c |

So i just got a new set of Audio-Technica noise cancelling head phones so i thought id go through this thread and check out all the odd things mentioned in this thread and see if i can hear them as a sort of listening exercise. I swear I heard a small laugh when I listened to Whisper a few minutes ago. It's not a Lose Control kind of giggle...it's an actual laugh (ha). It's around 3:10 after the "Don't turn away!" So what im hear is like a tapping noise like some one taping on a mic and then amy clearing her throat like *hehem* ... wow who ever mixed that into the song should be fired. But um, yeah. I couldn't really hear anything out of the ordinary in Sick its not really a glitch. its just the normal sort of pop you get with words that have ck or P or b sounds and because of the effect on the vocals it sort of makes it more obvious. the other thing is there is a guitar part with a lot of effects on it and its overdubbed and when it hits a certain pitch it sort of filters into flangy sort of glithy sound. As for LIP i had to turn it up to hear the pedal release and the metronome. Metronome bleed is hard to avoid some times when recording a acoustic piano because you have to set up so many microphones to get the sound from different angles and distances. And i am still convinced that in the live version of LIP on the last chorus Amy is singing "we've been farting for all this time." |
