OH MY GOD. I'm totally going to this. I have a slight problem though, I really wanna get M&G tickets (anyone have a rough idea how much they'll be?) but my friend isn't a HUGE fan of Ev so isn't bothered about meet and greet. Do you think it'll be easy enough getting on M&G and one standing ticket? I'm just dreading this selling out straight away.

I am sure they will sell out as soon as they drop so as long as you are on when they sell you should be fine!! Good luck! Congrats to the fans in the U.K. I was sure it was gonna happen! Have fun!

They don't sell out that fast. If you are online as soon as they go on sale, you'll have plenty of time to order a VIP ticket and then a normal one. For Cologne the VIPs sold out during the first day but there are still some regular tickets left.
As for the prices, the regular ones for the other dates are around 40-50 euro and the VIPs - 200.

I'm kind of torn on the VIP. Usually I tend to be really averse to going VIP as I see it as a money grabbing tactic to take advantage of fans. Paying to see someone perform their art is one thing, paying four times the amount to speak to someone and get stuff signed just seems OTT to me. That said, it is Ev and they are an independent artist, so the money's far more likely to go to them directly. I'm also reasonably poor at the moment and if these turn out to be the usual cost of Ev tickets, I can't really afford one ticket let alone VIP, and I don't really have much I want to say to the band/ask them, in comparison with a lot of fans who would really make better use of the opportunity to meet the band.
I think I'm probably just gonna go for standard ticket and get there really early to get down the front, but I'm worried that A) VIP's will be let in earlier so I'll end up at the back purely because I'm shrewd (and I'm too polite to push past people) and B) I'll somehow come to regret it when (for whatever crazy reason) this ends up being the last time they tour over here and I never get the chance to meet my biggest inspiration in person. Then at the same time, I keep telling myself that just seeing Amy and the band perform live is enough for me and, if I ever get the chance to meet Amy, I don't want it to feel forced and formalised (5 minutes then you're out) kind of thing. So many thoughts running through my head at the moment. I'm even anxious about the tickets running out (I won't be able to get to a computer to move money across/pay for tickets till 6pm at the earliest), I can't realistically see even Ev running out that quickly, but I just know that if anything like that's going to happen to anyone, it's going to happen to me.
(None of this likely makes any sense, but my head's full of noise and I just needed my thoughts out and down)

Rarkphoenix I would choose the VIP if I were you and if I had the money of course. Don't stress over having nothing to say to the band, it won't stop you from having an awesome time regardless. I went completely blank when I met them, but that's normal I guess. It's impossible to pour your heart out when you feel like a frozen statue and struggle to speak a few words in 30 seconds. I'm going to see them in Athens this summer, but there was not a VIP option so my hopes of meeting them again are very limited. Anyways, it's up to you really. If you go with the standard, make sure you won't regret it afterwards!

(: It's really helped me clear my head a lot (truth be told I've been a bit of an anxious mess since the announcement - sad, but true). I think if they haven't completely sold out by the time I'm able to order, I'll give VIP a go (even if I need to take out a mortgage). I still hate the principle, but if it means I get to give Amy the hug I owe her, and give the band some mulahz in the process, then I guess it's worth it

Some people got tickets early and they said VIP was "£165 not including postage". Hope that helps anyone.

Hopefully that wasn't all the VIPs gone! There will probably be more when the tickets go on sale to everyone.
