Someone on another forum pointed out that the intro has the same notes as Listen to the Rain! So cool! π

*Will be appreciated if the owner of thread or a kind mod put it in the OP. of course if it's fully correct. Not the kindest of them all but I did it. I also swapped the old youtube link with one to Amy's channel. Now back to witch mode. Shall I buy myself the flac version of the song instead of an mp3? ben There are places where it hasn't been released at all (yet?) so it can be worse. That is very true! My inner completist is going insane though, I have to admit! haha

I guess the song fits the movie but I highly doubt that, we would've known by now or at least Amy would've hinted or mentioned it in her post. The credits for the music is wrong too considering this is a cover not an original A.Lee song. As for the other versions missing from other stores, that might have to do with who is distributing the music in the region...

I'm the same - I'm so sad the remixes and instrumental aren't available in the UK!! I really want the whole EP in FLAC, so I hope it goes up on 7digital soon... (the single is there but not the EP) I never realized there were FLAC retailers ... Thanks for bringing that up! So I went to 7digital to buy the song (US) and the four-track EP is on there. So I guess this means only the single is licensed for sale in the UK? Is there any way you can use the US version of the store? us.7digital.com

Wasn't sure how I felt about this song at first, but it's really growing on me. The intro and the harp in one of the verses is particularly beautiful. I think it's just the drum sound in it that hits me in different ways, sometimes I like it and appreciate the low-tempo trip-hoppy feel, and sometimes I'm half expecting the song to go up a key, a well-dressed Westlife-type 90s boy band to get off their stools and start singing to thousands of screaming teenage girls. It just lacks the bass and punch I'd come to expect from Amy's solo stuff. The more I listen to it, the more I find hidden elements I like, but I think this is one of the rare examples where I prefer the feel of the original song on the whole.

I've listened/re-listened to this so many times now and I must say I'm really loving where Amy's vocals are going... And I'm aware that there are effects and decorations, but you can still hear - in her voice especially - that she's taking her job more "seriously" now than ever before. I'm really digging it. I love how she uses her vocals lately, much more freely!!

I really love the Spaceway Remix of this song. I'm not into Trance/Techno/Dubstep music much and even though I know this is just remix and a side version of the original song but it sounds great imo. if I'm not mistaking this is the first time we hear Amy's voice in this genre, right? I wish it was. the more I listen to this, the more it makes me feel that it could be a such a great hit with just a little support and serious advertising from the publisher. maybe as a movie soundtrack, maybe by a professionally recorded music video...

I've had this song on repeat since it came out. For hours and hours. The clip that came out made me more excited for anything Amy related since the Stompin' Steve video. I am in love with it. I feel the more comfortable she gets with herself, the more powerful Amy's voice sounds. Or maybe it's just the overall...naturalness of it? Idk. As beautiful as Amy has always sounded, at times you can tell she's trying really really hard to sing in certain octaves. I think because she started Evanescence so young that her voice wasn't fully developed yet. Then she got so used to it, perhaps she's just had a hard time rediscovering her own vocal abilities and how they've changed. That's why she tends to sing in a lower register during live shows. But even on "Dream too Much" she shows her progression. She's just singing in her own natural, powerful way and it's awesome. I feel like I can fall in love with her voice all over again.

I agree. Her voice sounds amazing in this cover, I'm loving it more and more. Believe it or not I'm very into the Spaceway remix at the moment, sounds beautiful because Amy's voice is outstanding, and at the same time sounds like something I could dance to at a techno party or something. So it has it all.

This is actually the first time in a while I've repeated a new song over and over. I can't get over how amazing this is! Her vocals sound amazing, I hope the a capella surfaces one day!
