Everytime I listen to this song I like it more and more. Particularly loving the beat right now, it's even kind of... danceable.
You know which part, near the end. (DUN DUN DUN. dudududududun. DUN DUN DUN. dudududududun.)

Does this somehow remind anyone else of "Symphony of Destruction"? The song by Megadeth?? Or is it a different band. Yeah, Megadeth. But it's been covered by a lot of other bands too. I don't know...I'm weird.

Megadeth is one of my favorites I grew up listening to and I wasn't sure if there was a different song with the same title by someone else. xD I'll have to go and listen to it and see if it's similar to me.

Yea I agree with this, until we hear it from the band, we don't know for certain cause Steve's answers haven't been reliable in the past, it could be new as Amy did say they had been working on something together. When he wasn't Reliable? When he said that IYDM and Your Love were part of the Lillywhite sessions when they aren't

So I'm thinking this was written in the same vein as Sick. The melody in the verses sound related, the energy, the angst, the message. It sounds like something you would say if you were telling your boss(i.e. the record label) to batten down the hatches because the Amy-storm is getting ready to blow that popsicle joint, and they'd be wishing they never crossed her.

I neeeed a studio version of this song, I really like it, whether it is Lillywhite material or not, it sounds really good, it would make sense considering Amy's statements about an Ev project that isn't entirely new but at the same time it's different from the rest, etc, etc. I really hope we get those Lyllywhite songs soon, especially Perfect Dream, wouldn't it be great if they adapted the opriginal to play it live on tour at some point?

This is a weird one for me as far as Evanescence songs go. The more I hear it, the less I like it. I love the lyrics, the bass is pretty interesting, the riff they briefly use in the bridge and the whole idea of Amy leaving lyrics out of the bridge and just singing is pretty cool, but the overall melody of the song just doesn't do it for me and I'm finding the verses/chorus just doesn't hit me in any shape or form. It feels like an Evanescence song in its groove and atmosphere, but it just feels like it's missing something. I guess if it WERE a Lillywhite song, there's a good chance it will originally have been lacking guitars, which may explain why the guitars are mostly really dull (apart from the end of the bridge), because they've probably been written quickly in rehearsals just to flesh the song out a bit and give Jen and Troy something to play.
I realise this is all pretty subjective, but just thought I'd give my views as it's been bugging me for a while.

I feel the same as I still do about If you don't mind. Both sound incomplete to me. I really like the guitar melody in Take cover, but the rest is mediocre.

I actually love the verses but I do agree about the chorus, it just doesn't grab me the way that other Ev songs do (same problem I have with MHIB). I don't know, to me it sounds a bit disjointed (the way that Cover and Move Over were sung...it just feels weird, off or whatever.) Maybe the studio version will change my views.

Well the song is not mastered yet, they hadn't even played it before Dallas (though I'm sure it was rehearsed a few times).

Wow I was totally not expecting them to play a new song! What an awesome surprise! I love how heavy it sounds. I'm not sure if I'm completely in love with Amy's melodies, but the backing music kicks ass! Hope we get to hear a studio version of this.

Yes, I love the song and I have to agree with other people here that there's something missing in the song. The song is the same with Sick, being angry towards a boss. I think the studio version of the song can make justice of this song.

But if you hear her spiel in one of the concerts before she launched into the song, she said she normally doesn't play stuff that wasn't released but now she doesn't give a sh*t. Amy is a perfectionist and usually doesn't let a song see the light of day until it's pristine and sounds the way she wants it to sound. This, and same with If you don't mind etc, are half finished songs that the fans BEGGED to hear, so she is indulging us. It's probably the same reason she's not enthused about releasing Your Love. In an interview, she said it's just ok. So really, playing these so-so songs is a nod to the fans who are ravenous to hear anything and everything from her. So thank your stars she is throwing caution to the wind. Otherwise this is one more song you may have never heard at all.

I would like to hear the original too.
