I finally got a ticket, and know I can make a show. So, my next question is... luck meeting the band after the show? I've seen some pictures at a few events. But, the show in Atlantic City is at a casino/hotel. Different setting. Always a chance they're spending the night there and not going back to their buses. Not sure how to manage finding-out if there's an after-show possibility of meeting them and where to go. Any help from the pros would be great! I'm used to hanging by buses until 2 or 3am, but, if this seems impossible, not sure what I'll do. It looks like they've been coming out after every show almost. Everyone usually stands out by the buses so I'd say you have a pretty decent chance to meet the band.

Ahh, I'm gonna be at that show too and didn't even think about it being a hotel. I know when they played in AC last tour at the House of Blues there was a 21+ Foundation room or something and some of the band members were there. Shame that place closed down. Hopefully I'll be able to spot the buses easily haha. Dunno how the layout of this place is. Edit- On average how long after the show do they come out? I would like to get something signed but I have to be up early to drive back to Rhode Island the next day so dunno how late I'd be comfortable staying up

So now that the tour is done and most of us have seen the live stream, what are your thoughts on the set list? I thought it was fantastic for the most part. Highlights for me were Everybody's Fool, Going Under, Lithium, Weight of the World, Whisper, and Dirty Diana. Everybody's Fool: Never thought I'd get to hear this one live! Not one of my favorite songs but I still loved it and have gained a new appreciation for it as well as the music video. This was a great opener. Much better than What You Want back in the self titled tour. Though I don't think anything will ever top Lose Control for me with the falling curtain at the chorus. Going Under: Not much to say here other than this is always a great live song. They've always played it at the beginning of shows, I wonder how it would be at the end? Lithium: I always enjoy this one. I love how they started doing the heavier guitar part after [...lay me down this time...] now. Weight of the World: Another song I always enjoy hearing live. My favorite part is when it gets really heavy right at [...know you don't believe in me] I think I prefer this one being at the beginning of the set list though haha. Whisper: So good. Sooooo good. The whole band really shines during this song. Jen's backing vocals, Tim before the chorus, Will during the entire song, Troy's guitar solo, Amy's vocals and stage presence...I could go on. Love the intro! Dirty Diana: This song was actually my favorite from the show I went to as well as the live stream. It really stood out and left an impression on me. I don't even listen to Michael Jackson and hadn't heard of this song before, but oh my god it was phenomenal. The energy from the whole band during this song was insane. Favorite part is definitely the guitar solos near the end. If this is the type of energy we're gonna see on the next album then sign me up. (I wonder if we will get a studio version of this? Maybe a band version of Recover?) Overall: This set list was really great and I'm so glad we got the songs that we did in professional quality. I was very happy that they brought back back Everybody's Fool and Breathe No More. It was cool to see Even In Death too even though I've never been a huge fan of that song. In the future I hope to see Farther Away, The Only One, and Lose Control again. TOD is my favorite album so I would love to get more than the usual 4 from it. Looking back, my favorite set list was the last one for The Open Door tour, with what I like to call the Big Three. (Missing, Lose Control, Understanding) Fallen songs are always great live too. Sadly I'm not the biggest fan of EV3 so I'd prefer older/newer songs to those but that's just me

I can't believe the show I went to was a week ago! One thing I have to take a moment to obsess over with other Ev fans who will understand is the fact that I got to hear "Even In Death" and "Breathe No More" live! Those are things I never expected to happen, and I feel so blessed. They were both so beautiful, and I am glad I was able to capture those moments on my phone as well to watch again and again. I got to hear "Understanding" in 2007 as well. The fact I got to hear two Origin-era/Demo-era songs such as "Even in Death" and "Understanding" makes this fan of Evanescence for 13 years a very happy fan .

^Wow! Thanks! i hadn't seen a lot of these videos either! I laughed so hard while watching it xD some parts are really hilarious xD her art as a musician aside, I think we are so lucky to have Jen in band and we really needed her! other band members, even Amy are not so active in social media compared to her and she's like our eye into the tour bus! you can always find new things by checking her social accounts and her facebook photo album. it's such a perfect diary!

I guess it helps that she was a fan of the band before becoming a member. She was probably just as interested as to what goes on backstage as we are!

Just watched that video again Amy and Jen are such gluttons! and 5:46! you know what? if I was a music TV producer and I could, i'd definitely invite Amy and her piano just to perform a whole hour of classical music. darkest works of musicians like Mozart, Bach, Beethoven, Schubert and Wagner... One can dream. *Sigh*
