Ok...so I turned the volume ALL the way up (and I could have just turned it up a little bit 'cause it turns out I could hear it like that too).I had earphones on and I heard the breathing(that was also very loud),but I forgot to turn the volume down before the silence ended....I...I might be a little deaf now

I forgot to turn the volume down and I threw my headphones off and ended up light headed because it scared the crap out of me and I jumped so far up out of my seat. It was so funny and embarrassing afterwards but oh well! Haha! |

Do we even know who wrote this song? I'm only asking because I was listening to this earlier today and thought "What was Amy thinking while writing this song?" Or what the inspiration for it was. It's weird there isn't really much on it.
I love how this song is crazy and stalker-ish. Definitely a favorite.

It's weird there isn't really much on it. I love how this song is crazy and stalker-ish. Definitely a favorite. Considering the fact that this song is probably based on a story rather than a real event, I have a feeling that this is a Ben song, considering the fact that he loves writing about stories in his songs (e.g. My Immortal, Understanding). |

Well, look at Haunted. Ben wrote the story but didn't Amy write the lyrics based off of/from the story? Yes, so couldn't it be the same for Surrender?
Anyway, I kind of group this song and SWQ together because SWQ is about going from the point of view of a stalker and the point if view of the victim. Surrender gives me the stalker vibe but strictly from the stalkers point of view. Though I do agree the writing seems like it isn't Amy's lyrical writing, but at the same time it seems like it could be from Amy too.
