BMI is an agency that collects and handles royalties and music licensing (just like ASCAP and SESAC). They update their page according to the information given to them by Evanescence's publishers. If they aren't legitimate, they wouldn't be on the album liner (Professor Screweyer Publishing (BMI) / Sweet T 666 Music (ASCAP) / Chrysalis One Song (BMI), etc.) Thanks. I wasn't questioning the validity of BMI Repertoire. Other were, as I have said. I wonder why the publishers choose certain songs (like Anything For You) and not others (Surrender, many of the EP songs)? Like, why are certain demos on there and others are not? Why is the EV EP (sort of) on there and not the SA EP? Why does Exodus get love but Understanding (a song made twice, performed on the radio acoustically, performed live, AND put on the actual radio back in the day) not get representation? It's just so strange. No one seems to remember the title to this song. My source, who was at that performance that night, doesn't even remember the song title or if it even had a title. Maybe this song didn't even have a title. Maybe the "Me in You" title back from EvBoard 2003-2004 is an EvLore title that a fan made up or *thought* it was called that since people do a lot of assumption on song titles based off of the lyrics. As for Spanish: Do we have an official source for this song? Yes, I agree with this but something has to have tipped them off that Me & You (Me in You) was "unfinished." Like, that little detail is ONLY put on that song. Something had to have been said either on Exodus Forums, or the Original Ev Forums (The O Board), or in the early concerts which made that label stick to that title. Even if this song is not Me in You, something made the early discographers, right or wrong, think Me & You was an EP Outtake that was "Unfinished." Based on Amy's comment about this song, I think it is the best of what we got to be honest. Also, no . . . Spanish is also hear-say. That too is weird - maybe they played it in the 2000 Live Set (where they supposedly also played Lies live?). I mean, for that one, the discographers wrote it was an instrumental. That, like the unfinished thing with Me & You, is very specific. I dunno - I wish WayBack Machine would let me look at the FAQ post in the old O Board but it doesn't let me. AGHH!

What's the difference between Me In You and Unknown Song? The lyrics in Unknown Song are "but you can't kill the [bold] me in you [/bold]". Why would there be a different song named Me in You when there is a song with lyrics that say me in you?

There is no difference, we think they are one in the same: Double A and myself both think the Unknown Song is called Me in You, a derivative of the name Me & You that EvBoard popularized on the Discographies back in 2003. Since we cannot for sure know what the song was called, however, it is known as the Unknown Song for now. We think, exactly for that reason that the lyrics say "but you can't kill the me in you," that the Unknown Song is called Me in You - this connected with the idea that there was this Unfinished song from the EP era called Me & You (as per EvBoard discographies across the land) and we think they just misheard the title (Me & You >> Me 'n You >> Me in You).

I'm not sure why, though I do think that if the actual artist, not the publisher of the songs, would update the site, it would be more accurate. I don't understand why the Label deleted the O Board. Like WTF, just close it but leave access to it so people like us, who need hard official facts, can find them!

Only BMI know why the website is the way it is. My theory is that a more accurate database exists but it is restricted to within the organization, and the BMI website is meant to be a representation of their database and is not meant to be accurate or complete.

How do you access the O-Board on the Wayback Machine? What is the old URL for the O-Board?

This is it, right? According to the EvRef it was "blown up in May 2003 after a minority of people flooded the board with constant questions about the band's religious affiliation". Is that the real reason? I thought it was more because there was no moderation, so it got flooded with assholes that bashed the band and Amy. It was awful. I heard Amy took it pretty hard and they moved over to EvBoard because it was run by fans. (And then eventually the people who ran EvBoard turned on Amy, so she made Evthreads. )

Yeah this is it! So, the only interesting topic that we can view is "Amy's thoughts on Origin" which doesn't have any quotes or anything in it, other than that tid-bit posted by a user that said many sample loops from the Origin songs come from Sonic Foundry ACID Music and ACID Pro Software, which is kind of neat. But in the "Taking Over Me" section there is something called "Keep it Alive! - Evanescence FAQ" and it is like 36 pages or something and I imagine it is in there where info is stored . . . since it is an FAQ after all. But I can't get in there because almost every topic is defaulted to that message that was posted when the forum was taken down

Any conversation of finding Stephanie Pierce on any Social Networking site should stop now. I've also deleted two posts about it. Thanks Osky.

I loved this song so much since 2009. Best a studio version would have kicked ass.
