No fucking waaaayyyyyyy! This is amazing! I wonder if this is a way to celebrate the 20th anniversary? I cannot wait to see videos. I hope it's professionally recorded, but I'm a-okay with anything. So exciting!

If there is anything that I have learned in my many years of being an Evanescence fan, it is to not get your hopes up. I love the band, they make great music, Amy Lee is incredible, but it's just better to take things as they come instead of getting our hopes up, setting expectations, and then not getting what we wanted.
Evanescence is like that friend who gives you a cool gift for Christmas that you totally weren't expecting, but you still totally dig. They aren't Santa Claus.
I need sleep.

I betcha some, if not most, of the fans over in those FB groups will be so mad and disappointed if we don't get a new album or news of studio time with Ev if we hear nothing about it by 2016 because of the shear fact they're all going crazy and thinking/expecting a new album is coming soon just because they are doing ONE show...
But anyway, I'm glad Ev is coming back for a show. Do you think they'll possibly play some unheard songs? I kind of hope that they will but at the same time I doubt they will. Know what I mean? lol. I wonder if Dani, Maddie, Josh, and Jack will come along? That would be kind of hard since the kids are still very young.

I truly believe that we have a VERY good chance of getting at least a new song out of this concert. Think about it...it's been 3 years since performing. They need new material. Plus, there are so many perfectly good recorded songs, (e.g. Perfect Dream, You Got a Lot to Learn). I'm really excited for this concert, whether or not we get new songs or not. |
