Here is a preview of Amy&Dave's music for Hammerstep's short film. Is this confirmed? As far as I know the uploader of that video took the audio from here and we don't have confirmation yet that Amy and Dave did music for the movie besides the IMDB page. Even if they did, how do we know this is their music? I know it at least has to be Dave because underneath the trailer on Hammersteps FB they added him to the special thanks.

I hope the Perfect Dream one is real, but I am a little skeptical, espcially the one that lists Ev's label as Bicycle Records. The result of the lawsuit meant that Ev are independent meaning that they are free of both Wind-Up and Bicycle Records, they are no longer listed on Bicycle Records catalogue on their website. However, that could just be a mistake on IMBD's part. It would make sense that Amy could be release the old material she wanted us to hear for these movies, but in terms of new material or a new album, I wouldn't hold my breath, she barely gets on twitter these days, she's a very focused mom.

If you hit the investing tab on bicycles website it redirects to another page/site and they're listed on there. Not sure what it meas exactly but I saw it the other day.

If anyone hasn't noticed, the credits are now officially listed on Amy's imdb page. This is one big mystery.
Steve Lillywhite knows nothing about it, but it's possible Evanescence re-recorded it at some point and needed it to list him for writing credits. Tim McCord denies that his collaboration has nothing to do with the songs on the soundtrack but did not deny anything. I feel like he would have said something else if it wasn't true.
I was looking at older articles about the Bicycle Records thing. It just states: "Back in November, Wind-Up sold most of its back catalog to the Bicycle Music Company and Concord Music Group, including the entire catalogs of EVANESCENCE, CREED, SEETHER and others."
And then a tweet from Amy saying: "Free from my record deal. I'm free to do anything, Ev included" Is she free from Wind-up or both? I didn't see anything else about Bicycle Records. In fact, the band's wiki lists them as one of their labels.
So at this point, I suppose we don't know anything. Just that if the songs do exist, they were recorded a while ago. I was thinking about it and none of the band members really could have had time to record a new song. They're all off doing their own thing.

As far as I know about record contracts and who own the song rights, Ev is free from Wind Up but their recordings are not. Those songs were recorded during their time at Wind Up, so Wind Up owns those not Ev. Also since this is between WU and Ev and not WU/Bicycle vs Ev, I would assume that the deal with Bicycle Music wasn't affected. I don't even think that Bicycle need Ev's permission to have those songs appear on the soundtrack, well since Ev doesn't own those songs anyway. Amy can always apply to have WU hand over the rights to her, still it doesn't mean she gets them right away. She might have to wait decades before those songs are finally hers. The only stuff from the Lillywhite Sessions that she might be able to re-record are the ones that they didn't get to the record... ^I'm just talking about record contracts in general, every record label have their own terms, etc and we don't really know what went down during the lawsuit so anything is possible... Here are a couple of articles explaining the copyright clause in recording contracts. Also Ev's on Bicycle Music Company not Bicycle Records...

Since EV isn't apart of WindUp, I really think these songs will finally get heard soon enough. I think Amy should release them on Itunes like she did with Aftermath! I feel like it is gonna happen Does the band have rights to release songs they did with Wind-Up? Were the songs they did with Steve Lillywhite considered Wind-Up? Or does The Bicycle Company record label own everything they've done? I'm confused. Bicycle got ownership of all of Ev's master recordings. Anyway, guys, Amy said in the Deeper with Amy Lee interview that there was left over material that isn't exactly Evanescence that she wants to do things with. She was talking about this during/after the interviewer asked about her creative space stuff. About 15 minutes in. So the Lillywhite Sessions could be what she was talking about here because one of the reasons those songs were pulled was because they weren't exactly Evanescence. Amy even said they weren't exactly Evanescence. As for the Indigo Grey stuff, Ring: yes. Dave has been confirmed as to have worked on the score. His name appears in the credits of that video you linked. Dave is the only one credited to having played a part in the score. Unless, they're using Resurrection; which is the song Amy loaned her vocals to for Hammerstep. But, for some reason, the cello part seems to be a song that's already been in a movie. I want to say Batman or something but idk. I can't put my finger on it... If you look on the Cast and Crew page for Outpost, Amy nor Evanescence is listed in either "music" or "composer" departments. So I'm not sure why this is listed under "Soundtracks". You guys have to remember that IMDb is like Wikipedia; anyone can edit the pages that they're on and place false information within the page. :/ As for those of you asking other Ev members about the apparent Ev songs that will be in movies, I'm not sure they would actually know... I don't think they would be contacted. Isn't it the labels decision whether a song of one of their artists gets used in a movie or not, and not the artists say? Also, in those Ev credits for songs, isn't it only Amy and Terry being credited on behalf of Evanescence (because Evanescence is the performers after all) and courtesy from Bicycle? And I'll state again: You guys have to remember that IMDb is like Wikipedia; anyone can edit the pages that they're on and place false information within the page. And that Lillywhite conversation about "Wrong Lillywhite session I don't know about Evanescence". Steve was saying that to someone's question about possibly hearing the 2009 sessions that we've never heard. Steve is right though. Five songs from the Lillywhite sessions were re-worked and released on Ev3 with writing credit's being "written by Evanescence and William B. Hunt". As for the first reply about Perfect Dream, I take it that the fan was asking if it was true or not and Steve said it wasn't. I'm not sure how Steve would know if it was true or not in the first place, anyway. Lycrymosa, X and whispersinmyear: Amy mentioned in a recent-ish interview about the works being under Bicycle. I'll have to look for it but the songs are still under Bicycle, Amy is just independent now. Anyway, with all this hype and everything, I hope Amy is at least doing something. If we are going to get some 2009 session songs, then great! If not, then oh well and we will have to wait some more. Sorry for the long post.

It is generally agreed that IMDb is as reliable as it can get when it comes to movie information. While anyone can request changes to a certain page, the changes are checked by the staff to see whether they are correct.

I don't know if anyone has seen this but SteveL replied to another tweet, although I'm not sure if he's being sarcastic or what...

I think amy is to creative to just release anything without a project of some sort. So if she is going to release older music it makes sense that it's partnered with something else. Why not right. I guesse time will tell! I hope she tweets something soon!

I guesse time will tell! I hope she tweets something soon! Pretty much this. It's fun to speculate about the possibilities, but only time will tell whether it's true or not! And everyone knows EvFans are good at waiting. I personally think there may be some truth to these movie soundtracks, but Perfect Dream being included in the release is a lot to hope for. But I'd like to be proved wrong!

So I just messaged the Outpost facebook, and I asked them if Amy or Ev was on the soundtrack, and they said "Nope!". I would screen cap, but I don't know how to do it on mobile.

One down, three to go. Well, that one really was fishy.

Well that's upsetting, I at least hope God's Of Egypt is true. It also looks like they deleted Perfect Dream from their Imdb. This was also on an unofficial FB page.
