I wonder how they're not ashamed of themselves. Crazy people.

I saw that video a little while ago, and I was absolutely horrified and disgusted by their behavior. Words cannot express how angry this video makes me, until the end, then it just shatters my heart.

Wow, I have never seen this video...it's scary. I cringe everytime I see this, everytime fans act like that it makes it so much harder on everyone else because it creates this crazed image on all of us. Amy and the band are just people like you and me. I mean hey, I sat in front of Josh at the benefit concert and when I met Amy afterward nothing like this shiz broke out. I like being able to talk to them as idols I look up to, but also as people. If stuff like this keeps happening, we will never get to be able to do that.
Side note: I am outraged that "fans" actually went as far as pulling Amy's hair and stealing her glasses off her face. Really? PSYCHOS.

I've seen this video. It's so sad how Amy was treated here. There's apparently another video floating around out there at a different and "better" view of what went on... WTF? Seriously? This is ridiculous. These are not fans. They are incredibly disrespectful people who don't know how to keep their cool. I once, unfortunately, got to see someone yell in Amy's face. Everybody looked f'ing annoyed (including Amy). These people treat Amy like a celebrity. We respect her as the artist she is, not some slab of meat. Really? Why did they yell in her face? Did they think they weren't getting the attention they deserved from Amy? UGH! I was with a friend (who has now become a distant acquaintance) at the 2012 COM show, and she called Amy a "bitch" for not coming out, at the end of the show, so we could meet her ad the guys. I, however, understood because she tweeted a week or so before that about there being a security issue. Another fan at the show, who was also a big Halestorm fan, said Lzzy had a stalker and that's why at that show they weren't able to go out after and said that may be the case with the show we went to. PJ.: Remember Amy said something about a French fan who asked if they could have a piece of her hair for voodoo and Amy said no. She then went on to explain the fan came back a little later and asked for a picture. When they went to put their arm around her they plucked some hairs from her head and ran off. Amy explained it in a very funny way, though. Lol. I'll look for it for you.

Now that I think about it, this video reminds of a video of Rihanna I saw once. The headline was something tabloidy and I was bored, but the video was Rihanna leaving a venue via the carpark and being mobbed by photographers. There was no room to walk, and she had four or more body guards protecting her from them, and I was appalled. It didn't get rough like this video of Amy, but there were flashes going off mere centimetres from her face, and in that moment I understood why people in the spotlight cancel meet and greets, or why some people don't seem friendly to fans, and why some celebrities snap at the papparazzi. They're still a person, and sometimes it seems like there isn't a person around that doesn't want a piece of them. Sometimes they just want time to feel human and not like a goldfish or pull apart bread. Sometimes they want to feel like they own themselves.

In the beginning, it seemed harmless. Towards the middle when they're going through the doors, I could seriously feel the anxiety creeping up. And then the horror of the mob. Amy crying in the van, really made me start tearing up too.
And can I say STFU! to that woman who is screaming at the end?
:/

Yeah, I watched that video a while back. Embarrassing. You always want your favorite band to have a nice time in your country and most fans are lovable and respectful, but then the rotten apples make an appearance. Oh, well.
