Gah. I know. If I ever find the time and/or energy, I guess I could actually put effort into it...

Eternal -Located on the album(s): "Origin" as Track #11 -BMI Work #6966942 -Length Time: 7:22 -Acoustic Version Available? [NO] -Live Version Available? [NO] Lyrics: INSTRUMENTAL Song: Some Things To Think About/Debate Over -According to the BMI website, Amy (in some way) assisted with the creation of this song, even though EvLore has it that Ben and David did this song alone. According to the video (below) Amy did NOT name this song, even though she knew quite quickly what song he was referring to on the piano. Is it possible she made the piano of this (was that originally seperate from the beginning beep + piano part? Was this first part of Eternal originally two songs?) and Ben + David played the beginning part? Casey: There is a track on, I think it's the last one on Origin CD, that me and Jacob made some kind of arrangement. We play it on the guitar, I dunno what it is called. ( )
Amy: Which one are you talking about? The very end? Is it a fast song or a slow song?
Casey: Yeah, no it's a slow song. *plays* This one.
Amy: Oh, I know what you mean.
*plays, or at least tries to play for a while*
Casey: Or maybe it's this *plays*
Amy: And then you repeat it *plays*
Casey: I dunno what I'm doing *plays*
Amy: Hold on *plays*
[Random Talking, does anyone want to help me transcribe what they are saying?]
Casey: That's it! That's the one it was, this one [mumble] . . . *plays*
[John Lee talks here, not important, but it's funny]
Amy: Okay, now play the piano . . . ( )
*Eternal plays in the background*
Amy: He's playing my song. I haven't played it in about six years. It's neat.
John: Which one?
Amy: It didn't really have a name. We called it, like uh . . . just instrumental.
John: Is that on Origin?
Casey: Yeah. It's um . . .
Amy: I dunno what it's called, it started with rain.
John: Yeah?
Casey: Listen to the Rain?
Amy: No, it started with rain.
Casey: Oh really?
Cerrie: I know what it's called!
John: Listen to the Rain was something she wrote in high school.
Cerrie: Dad, look!
Amy: What?
Cerrie: Eternal.
All: Eternal.
John: Eternal, that's right.
Amy: Yeah I didn't name that one, I was [mumbles] [mumbles] on all of them [mumbles] its terrible terrible [mumbles]. *(LOL is she saying that Eternal was a terrible name for the track? Did Ben make the name for the track? LOL!)*
[John and Cerrie talk]
Casey: But, yeah its a metal version of Origin [mumbles] it's interesting [mumbles] *(Is he talking about buying a bootleg of Origin, hence the rest of this conversation below?)*
Amy: [background talking with Casey, does anyone want to help me transcribe what they are saying?]
[John and J.C. talk]
Casey: Yeah it was, uh after we bought it [mumbles] we started recording it [mumbles] because everytime I see them pop up, I said [mumbles]
Amy: Was it really us though?
Casey: Yeah it was y'all
Amy: Oh that's awesome [mumble]
Casey: Just imagine [mumble] SOURCE (Begin at 4:00)-EvLore has it that Amy recorded the entire thunderstorm (as heard in the song) outside of her window one day and used it on this track and on "Listen to the Rain," since "Eternal" was suppose to lead into "Listen to the Rain." -This song was merged with "Demise," after the song "Listen to the Rain" was cut from Origin. There were two extra tracks originally planned to take place on the CD, one of them was called gDemiseh. At a later point, the band decided to join gEternalh and gDemiseh together, so the track is now just called gEternal.h The other track was gListen to the Rainh which was meant to be the filling between gEternalh and gDemiseh. -On the bootleg Le Nouveau Gothique, Eternal's beginning and ending fades out. The beginning probably fades in due to Away From Me's ending beeps not being present (since AFM was NOT before Eternal on this bootleg). I am unsure as to why they faded out the end (Demise). This song is the bootleg-song called Eternal (Fade Intro & Outro). -According to EvReference, the "original" version of Eternal was 4:36. Presumably, they are talking about Eternal without Demise, since Origin was suppose to end with Away From Me, then Eternal, then Listen to the Rain, then Demise (i.e. Away From Me (Pre-Release Alternate Ending). The question becomes HOW did they get the duration to 4:36, when Eternal itself (with Demise) is 7:22? Demise does NOT last for that long, so what else of Eternal was cut to make 4:36? Did the "original" Eternal not have the full piano piece? Play your Eternal on your music player and stop at 4:36 - it stops directly in the middle (err middle-ish) of the piano piece. How could Eternal end there? That doesn't make any sense. And even if this was the case - why is it that NO ONE has this? Someone obviously has to have it in order to come up with that duration . . . RRIIGGHHTT? Eternal [original version] Recording date: 1999 Status: Unreleased Length: 4:36 SOURCE-Older discographies make special mention that Demise is apart of Eternal, just like they mention that the WWYG Reprise is apart of Anywhere: 11. Eternal [& Demise] <7:19> THANKS to DoubleA for the lyrics and the videos are from FallenEvArmy!

the mid part, with just the piano reminds me of like a music box from the turn of the century or something or a lil girl standing outside in the rain waiting for her parents. All she has is a porcelain doll, and a music box. well that's what i get from it.
