I've searched in both General Evanescence and Evanescence Discography for something like this but I haven't seen anything. I'm making this thread because I think it's fun watching/seeing mistakes happen as we are all human (plus they're sometimes funny) and also because the band handles mistake like a boss! So here: I'll post this one!  The WOTW one is my favorite. I have NO IDEA what she says in the TOS one. I love her face when she forgot LIP the second time. And the MHIB one. I've never seen Amy stop a performance, EVER!  (Yes, I'm a bit excited. Has she EVER done that?) And this one: Oh you darn monitors! (This was the show I went to.  All during Made Of Stone Amy was looking backstage and doing hand gestures. After the song she went back and was gone for about 3 minutes and then said what she says below. XD) |

HAHA! The one about the monitors from your show was great. I hadn't seen that one before.
How can we forget Amy knocking down her keyboard from headbanging, though? Skip to 1:15.

Guess they're only human. At least mistakes show the performance is live, not lip synced.

How can we forget Amy knocking down her keyboard from headbanging, though? Skip to 1:15. I'm such a looser cause I was there when it happened and I didn't noticed that! Lol. Also, this epic moment during LIP in Canberra at around 1:20. |

How is this not the first thing posted? Because I didn't post it as the first one.  I thought the one from my show was funnier and has more memories, to be honest. DeMarzi: Haha! Yeah! I wondered why she kept looking backstage and doing had gestures! Then we find out. Well she did pretty damn good on MOS for not being able to hear shit! XD EvanescentEvil: Haha! That LIP performance was all over the place and riddled with pretty cute mistakes. XD Well, at least before she says "Shit!".  Can anyone hear what the person in the crowd was saying at 0:17/0:18 that made the crowd laugh and Amy smile? HAHA! Look at Tim "dancing" at 4:54! |

I had my fingers crossed that no one had shared this one yet because I wanted to. haha. I have no idea how this could have possibly happened, considering how these sorts of events are deliberated over. This is one of the only times that Amy has ever had to lip sync live. Apparently they were told that the show wanted them to lip sync at the last minute and they weren't too happy about it, but they went on anyway. I like watching this video because you can see their rebellion in the way they move.  |

Now I wish I could find the interview where Amy completely trashed this performance and the people behind it! I think it was her and John or Terry just laughing at how they forced to lipsync, John was 'singing' a voice that wasn't even his, and the half-naked strippers on the stage. This isn't so much an Ev mishap as it is a whoever hosted this mishap. |
