Lost in Paradise is so emotional and raw. Like Amy has stated, it came from a very vulnerable moment in her life. I wish I knew what she was thinking at the time the lyrics were written. The piano is subtly powerful in its own sense, and the bridge just gets to me every time.

this song is growing on me.. at first I didn't really care much for it. It was a pretty song yeah but I didn't feel much. But now. omg This is the song that is getting me through the day. I would have thought songs like Like You, and My Immortal was going to be my therapy songs. but nono
The bridge is the best part, it really is Raw and emotional.

Unpopular opinion but Lost in Paradise (radio edit) is a travesty, they didn't even bother mixing the beats to the song well, you could tell it was just slapped on the song. I also feel like it sort of took away the magic of the song. If that's the version they were going to use on the video, then I'm sorta glad that it didn't happen (or so it seems...)

I LOVE it, I think it's so much better, there is an actual build up to the band and it just sounds so much more polished and tidy rather than the band appearing out of nowhere and all the long insturmentals, which can drag the song out have been cut out. I think they did a really good job of it for putting on the radio. I hope they play it, this has potential to be really popular "mainstream", just a shame they left it so late

I love the radio edit, I just think the added electronic and drum beats are awesome. On repeat now If Wind-Up don't release this properly..........

Mixing-wise, wow, they compressed the crap out of her voice in the radio edit. It sounds so coarse and unpolished ... which fits in a song like Going Under or Made of Stone, but NOT for this song. Yikes! I don't like it

I like it, but I dislike the way Amy has all that vibrato on her voice. Surely that was probably just an effect but still. It's sounds... I don't know how to describe it.

They put it through a flanger. A lot of rock vocals pass through a flanger to ease out slight imperfections as well as give it more grit. It's the old school trick before auto-tune ... Dont get me wrong ... You still have to be able to sing pretty awesomely unlike autotune. If you're not in tune, a flanger wont help your voice. It's usually not that obvious unless you compress the hell out of it. Compressing in recording is squishing the sound so the quiet bits are just as heard as the loud bits. But then, the effects are exaggerated. Unless the effect is meant to stick out, it's not very pleasing at all.

I don't like the radio edit at all. Amy's voice sounds like...trembling

Is there a way for me to listen to the radio edit?
