Haha, thanks! I was wondering who gave me that. AlicexCullen was a total sweetheart and made it for me.

Such a sweet and melodic song! Unfortunately, it cannot always get me the vibe that Amy has probably wanted to achieve as I don't usually get to feel tormented while listening to it. (Despite its lyrics attempting to make you feel so.) What I, however, love about this song is the instrumental itself, the melodies within. Amy's voice sounds incredibly beautiful at times! By the way, the video to MHIB still doesn't fit according to my imagination. xD

I love this song! It is meaningful and emotional song for me. I love the violin and/or the orchestral part along the song. Even though there's a cut in the MHIB video, Amy puts her emotions in the video (as I observed her movements in the vid). I really love it!

I decided to try and add the drums into the bridge like the live version, and this was the result. Hope you guys like it I had to change the pitch of the audio in the video because YT sucks.

Hey Double A, I got a question for you. So . . . what is this YouTube person talking about in these two videos, as per the quote below: My Heart Is Broken (Rock Mix Edit)My Heart Is Broken (Pop Remix Edit)So . . . is this person confused or something? The Rock Mix Edit IS the Alternate Mix, unless I missed something. I thought that is what we agreed upon? I don't hear any differences between the two, so I don't see how they are different. Also, the Pop Remix Edit IS the Radio Edit, although not the Radio Edit this person is thinking of (I'm talking about the US Radio Edit, not the UK Radio Edit, of which I call the Promo Edit xD). What do you think?

What do you think? Hmm. I thought the US and UK Radio edits were the same. I have both and they sound the same to me... Hmm. Let me think on this for right now and compare and scrutinize them extensively (as I did with "Imaginary" Fallen and Mystary Edit XD) and let me get back to you. According to Batman (@matt) on EvThreads v1, Rock Mix Edit is the alternate version and the Pop Remix Edit is the Radio Edit (whichever radio edit we are referring to; US or UK). Though I do not *recall* if Tyler ( FaixaFive) or Joanna ( Lycrymosa) have said anything about them being the same or different. Maybe they can shed some more light on this ordeal since they have the authentic German and the UK Press kit physical singles.

No no I distinctly remember us finding a difference between the Radio Edit and the Promo Edit. Arg, let me see my notes from ev.it 3.5. [1] MHIB (Album Version):[2] MHIB (Radio Edit):[3] MHIB (Pop Mix):[4] MHIB (Rock Mix):[5] MHIB (Promo Edit): [6] MHIB (Single Version):[7] MHIB (Instrumental): [8] MHIB (Alternate Mix): I have 8 versions (non-acoustic, non-Acapella) for MHIB. This is a quote from your list here on EvThreads. See, even you have the UK and US Radio Edits as different - there was a difference, I just can't remember what it was. P.S. When did we get the "official" Acapella for MHIB? I know we got one that was kind of close, but that one was user-made. Did another one get released that I wasn't aware of?

This doesn't make sense becuase according to this the Rock Mix Edit and Pop Remix Edit are 3:45 and 3:47, and the durations of the Rock and Pop Mixes are 4:29 and 4:02.

DarkFlare89: I'm transferring my files from my desktop to my laptop as we speak. I think I've saved all the conversations from Ev.it v3 so I'll look for those. I also have my printed notes from when we scrutinized each of the 10 versions before. I'll have to find those, but I think I threw them away since I wrote on them, we found the differences and I had it as a digital file (this was all before laptop #1 crashed so hopefully I still have everything as I transferred everything when it was dying, though I still have the hard drive). EDIT: 5/1/13: I found this on my Photobucket page. MHIB version explanations from the old EvThreads. Though I'm still going to scrutinize these versions as soon as finals are over. Ring: As I stated in my previous post, I was told that both the Pop Remix and the Rock Mix Edit were the same as the Pop Mix and the Rock Mix. Though the two users that have authentic versions have not said anything about the differences between these and their debated counterparts. We WILL get to the bottom of this even if I have to become a temporary dentist and pull teeth. UGH! Curse you multiple versions of one fricken song! Though I do love different versions, don't misunderstand me.

Apparently this is the demo version of MHIB. I'm not convinced, but I still like it

I doubt it's the demo (original or pre-production *as one youtube poster said it is/could be). There are just so many things going on in the song that doesn't convince me to be an official Evanescence demo. If it turns out to be a real one, well good thing the studio recording is much more refined.

^ I agree. Demos are supossed to be rough takes of the final product. There are too many layers in this. It would require more editing and mixing than the final result.
(Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but that's my opinion)

...It just sounds like they took the vocal track (that sounds like it IS the final version's vocals) and cut/pasted it to infinity over some (possibly sampled) instruments. It'd be more believable if they hadn't layered different lyrics on top of each other, like putting "BYYYYYYYYYE" and "torn away from you" in completely inappropriate places. Also, the quality of the audio is dreadful for a demo that would have been recorded in a studio (or even in someone's living room, I can record better quality than that and I have exactly ONE relatively inexpensive microphone), in fact it suffers from the same quality issues as the multi-tracks of Lithium/WYW/WOTW/etc... you can download on youtube.
Still, not a bad job, hehehe, it's just not "legit" in the slightest.

Wow. You can tell that someone "made" an acapella version and tried to make it sound experimental and demoish. It's also the Pop Mix version that someone toyed with. DarkFlare89: I have finished scrutinizing the MHIB versions and I need to print the file as a .PDF (save it as a .pdf - which Windows 8 (laptop) won't let me do , so I need to do it on my desktop that has Vista) and then I will send it to you so we can discuss the versions and what needs to be changed in the first post of the song list. I sent you the .doc converted into .pdf! If anyone else want the .pdf of my scrutinized/differentiated versions of MHIB PM me, or I'll post it here. Just let me know.
