Look, I'm not saying that all her vocals on Ev3 sound unnatural, neither have I stated that TOD has been perfectly mixed whatsoever. My whole point was, there were too many vocal lines on Ev3 which struck as weird to me. Not only were those the ones in TC; here, I also meant that whole layering issue (which I didn't even know how to word properly and decided to call auto-tune instead.)
Even on that line you've given as example, you can still hear her back vocals coming in all of a sudden, as well as them still sounding effing unnatural for some reason. I guess it's just her voice sounding too sweet and cheesy which makes me doubt the mixing so much. The record's vocals just aren't typical of Amy at times, frankly quite often...

Hoooly crap, that intro is amazing! I would love the song a lot more if it was like this. I think I'm gonna download this and replace "WOTW" with this version. Thanks for posting!

I really wish I could hear the acoustic version of this song that they played at the TOD preview on September 6, 2006. I wonder why they only did that once and never again.

To be honest, I looked at the thread on Evboard about the September 6 TOD Preview and I believe the users that say Weight of the World was performed acousticlly. These are all quotes from different people. |

Well then, they may have been possibly deciding what the forth single would be as they probably already had the other three picked. If I remember correctly, Amy said something about the forth single that they needed to pick were between SS or ATILF and Wind-Up picked ATILF.
I also don't think Amy wanted WOTW to be a single but oh well. It probably would have done well as one.
