For those of you who have Netflix, there is an "Independent Movie's" section. I'm not sure if it's going to have War Story on it but it might.

Hay guys just wondering, Do we have some one who plans on recording it? I ask because well I'm finding it hard to find anywhere that is going to show it online and well tv here in Australia *laughs* well you can forget about it being on free to air tv here. Im sure there are many of us with the same issue.
I really want to see the film its not enough just to hear the music i want to hear the music in context with the movie. Being a composer i like deconstructing and analysing film music as I'm watching and it will be really interesting to see what they have done and pick out Amy's influence in the music. Im totally excited.
I really hope it dose well so that it is more accessible to everyone.

Do these types of movies get uploaded online? It may not necessarily be legal but I also don't want to encourage this behaviour because it IS wrong, but it's one of the ways I could access it. I wouldn't share the link here or anything, but I could perhaps rip the audio and post it on my own sites or something.

Im still a bit confused on how it works, if a movie dose well is it more likely got a chance to be released at indy theatres? and will that be just in the US? and if they have it online will it have that annoying region lock thing? do these movies even get made available online?

Hate to break it to you guys, but I doubt any of us are going to be seeing this movie for a little while. I mean, unless you live in Utah and actually attend Sundance. I'm not sure this film even has a distributor yet. I believe a lot of these indie films show at festivals specifically to get distributors, so that their films can be shown more widely in theaters and/or released on DVD. If they don't have one yet, they'll get one soon and then we'll find out whether the movie will get a theatrical release or just go straight to DVD. I'm hoping that since there's 2 really big actors in this, that it'll get at least a limited theatrical release. How cool would it be to hear Amy's music in a theater?

There are two Zoe Kazan movies that I'm still waiting for that were shown at film festivals like Sundance, one in April (still no sign of this one being released any time soon) and one in September. I'm pretty sure the September one is set to hit UK theatres in May, but it also stars Daniel Radcliffe so that probably helps. Lol. But yeah, I mentioned somewhere on the board (probably here) that we're not likely to see War Story for a good while after Sundance.

Someone on Twitter said the festival will be aired on the Sundance channel. Was it from a reliable source though?
