I just dedicated it to my boyfriend, though he's not much into Ev. But as Elodie said, it feels sweet and dangerous at the same time. Because doing literally anything for the other person, can be a very dangerous thing to ourselves, you never know what they could ask. She emphasizes how being in cloud nine (not the song, eh) with the person you love, is amazing and dangerous at the same time. But it's a warm, sweet feeling. I love this song. Thanks, dear! Glad to see someone else has come to the very same conclusion, too.  @melt: Actually, I've never really paid attention to those... wet details. They could, in fact, do the job for me but let's not go on about my personal tastes of arousal...  |

But that hair! How could anyone think meh of that hairdo? I don't know. There's something ultimately comforting about the song and the video for me. Especially that look in the mirror during the first chorus (I think). I LOVE THAT HAIR STYLE!!! I had my hair done similar to that for my boyfriends senior prom in 2009. And I'm going to have the same hair style when I get married. hehe! ;D Okay, okay, I give you that. Her hairstyle is pretty nice on that video, indeed. But what about 'dem boobies? Wet boobies don't do it for you? Me neither.  Oh, Melt. You are something else. lol. Though, I do have to admit that her boobies did look extra perky in that video... Must have been that awesome shirt and corset (I think she wore a corset in that video). |

Just natural and earthy lookin'... Which is a quality I've always associated with Good Enough. It's very earthy. She's so damn womanly in that video, hehehe... Not like CMWYS, SS, and to a lesser extent, Lithium, where she comes across as a bit of a little girl in momma's high heels. |

^^I liked her outfit in this video, too, and ofcourse i noticed her boobies. And during the making off, when she's talking to the camera backstage, all wet...  Ok, i'll stop.  You cray cray. Heh, Good Enough is my favorite video. If only the vines/roots didn't look so fake..... That said, the other special effects are insanely cool. I've always loved the melting champagne glass. The symbolism throughout is also a rather nice touch. She buries a picture of some mysterious person (plants the seed), then begins to lose control -ding- of her passion/whatever you wish to interpret the fire as until it is quelled by the rain, which in my interpretation represents the balancing force. The water to her fire.... The thing that saves her from herself -ding ding ding-... That rain then allows the memories she planted to grow into new life, a new beginning with a brighter future (sunlight). I love this video too. Probably my favorite, followed by Lithium. Except for those plants as you said that looked so, so cheap, the rest of the effects were pretty spot on. |
