Evanescence.com: Discussion and Concerns

Maybe I'm behind the news but yesterday I wanted to look at the history of my orders in the Evanescence Store on Bandmerch, which was accessible via Evanescence.com as a "STORE" button for a long time. It should lead to store.bandmerch.com/evanescence. You can still see it in the source code. I'm sure that many of you know that website.

But now I found out that it redirects to some Spanish subdomain called evanescence.tmstor.es/! It seems not to accept my previous login info at all -- and I'm afraid that all my previous history and information is gone. I hope I didn't save any really personal info there... but I'm not really sure because I made about six or seven orders in the last year and didn't plan to stop, of course.

My question is - what the hell happened to their store? Or maybe - what does it mean?

But now there's this thing, trying to look like it's the "whole merch"... but the offer is really pathetic

I've done this so that way we can have a discussion about Evanescence.com and ask questions when something is not working correctly, do not understand something, or have a concern. We can also discuss the EvMerch Store as well in this thread, though there is an appropriate thread to discuss the official merchandise.

It's a company in the UK, Townsend Music. Good company - I have purchased from them before (Suede/Brett Anderson merchandise) Only problem is, they don't have much Ev stock. Just before Xmas, I ordered the In Time locket, it arrived within 2 days. I am desperately trying to get hold of the charmed necklace and the Keep Track Necklace but they don't stock it and Band Merch in the US are out of stock on both.

Not sure why the official site forwards to it though, I thought it was strange in December, I thought it was maybe because I was in the UK but is it happening to everyone?

Also, if you check Band Merch's Twitter/Facebook they have had a lot of complaints recently.

I think it just redirects everyone in Europe to the UK store, which is annoying. However I did manage to work a way round it.
If you click on this link (to the charmed necklace) it doesn't redirect you as it isn't the home page.

From there you can click on your account, then I clicked on home after that and it didn't automatically redirect me. It might tell you that the page is unsecure but just ignore that cause it's just the redirect which is making it do that.

I get the regular bandmerch page. Hey! Why does the redirect store have stickers and a men's "Want" glow in the dark shirt? I want the stickers and that men's shirt!

Maybe Band Merch is completely out of stock on Ev things? Like they decided to get rid of everything at the end of the era?

I get that page too. Does this mean we can't order from the original/US store anymore?

Hmm, if you really want to order something, you could try clicking on the individual sections after the my account page, like girls and accessories? Maybe that would get around the redirect for you.
They obviously just assume that since we're in EU we'd rather use an EU shop. I don't see the need for a redirect though.

OK. To be honest, there probably IS a way how to click through the categories & it really looks like you can order something too, at least it looks like you can put your items to the cart and then go to the checkout, so thank you AlessEv. But you should not to click to HOME, because then you'll be redirected to the tmstor.es.

I'm just hugely disappointed. By the whole concept of this. And by the offer in that "UK store", no matter how it can be "easier" because it's "closer"... It's not about that for EvFans, it's not about the geographical position at all. They should at least give us a choice.

Just wondering whether anybody else is having problems loading evanescence.com or if it's just me?

It looks to me like Wind Up have pulled it to save money whilst the band is on a break, as it keeps redirecting me to their internet service provider. Although it could just be something weird going on at my end

Anybody know what's happening, if anything?
