Would it be possible for someone to make a guitar intro, much like this live version? I thought there was a remix on FallenEvArmy? Or is that the one with the String intro? Or maybe it was the ABH Piano intro? . . . or maybe it was neither of those Someone could probably make them all, eventually at least. We have the instrumental (and etc) after all. It MIGHT be possible. If there's a good quality live version with little to no audience in the background, I could probably loop the live guitar and use the multitracks around it. And now I want to try and edit the demo intros in to the Fallen version of BMTL, guess what I'll be doing tomorrow night *sigh* So how come no one's asked about this intro? It might be possible to make also, I'm definitely gonna try it.

Recreate the guitar intro and put it onto BMTL. Or make it from the video without the fans and Amy's live vocals. I would try but I suck at that. DarkFlare89: I have no idea. I was just going through stuff last night and didn't think to look on the channel. I'm too tired right now to look. I've been on my feet since I woke up and my foot hurts because I stepped on glass last night too, so that's not helping. UGH! FallenEvArmy: I'm still working on that intro (from the multi tracks) because I stuck at it, but I thought someone already made that one. Lol.

I'll give them both a go this week. Not promising anything because there might be some unforeseen problem that I've not yet realized. but I'm hopeful I can do it. ETA: I'm going to try the Rock AM Ring performance of BMTL, it's quite clear and there's hardly any noise from the audience. UPDATE: Guitar intro achieved! Onto the next one.

EmptyChild, that Cologne intro you've done is absolutely amazing. That's always been my favourite BMTL intro! Nice work.

Those videos are SO amazing! Thank you so much for creating them. These are two things the fans, for years, have been asking for. *party time*
So we have all the unique BMTL's now - string intro, guitar intro, regular intro, and ABH intro that FallenEvArmy already created before (the "Bring Me To Life (Bliss Mix 2012 Edit & Intro)" which is also on her channel).

Does anyone know the release date of the "BMTL" music video? All I can find is that it was filmed in January 2003. I feel like it was maybe sometime in March, but I really cannot recall. Perhaps DarkFlare89 would have this info? You seem to be an Ev encyclopedia. And if anyone has the release dates for any of the other music videos from Fallen and TOD, I would appreciate your help!

If I remember correctly, most music videos were released the same day as the commercial singles were released. So I think that would make it April 22, 2003. I could be wrong but that's what I've heard a few times back then. In this day and age though, idk how it would work because physical singles aren't as popular as they used to be.

It would likely have been released on different dates in different markets. For example, in my country, based on the March 2003 edition of a local music magazine I have, we already had the BMTL music video on some stations as Fallen was released. The whole promotional thing for BMTL is pretty weird anyway, considering that it seemed like as early as December 2002 they knew it would be the single. Then, I first heard about Evanescence in February 2003 because WWE used BMTL as the theme song for their major event in February - and then the record came out in March. Generally speaking, the lead single would come out around about a month prior to the album release (essentially it did), but it wasn't "officially" released until almost 2 months later... so yeah, it just seems to be a big mess in-terms of specific release dates. I originally got scolded for listening to Evanescence back then. My older brothers and their friends would rip on the band whenever the video came on T.V and so natrually, I got teased to no end for liking them. Ironically, one of my older brothers ended up becoming a really big fan. You know how people normally come to resent a band's biggest single, and especially diehard fans will (generally) end up detesting that song and anyone who likes it. They'll claim that you're not a 'real' fan because you like the song that everyone likes... Well, I've never felt that way about Bring Me To Life. 10 years later, I still proudly jam it as loud as I can and it's still one of my top favourite Ev songs

At least, it seems as though they were already thinking it was going to be BMTL with the way Amy put the explanation about it. But Idk. I like BMTL a lot. I'm not sure if the Album or Bliss Mix version is my favorite of the two versions though. After hearing the rap in the album version, the bliss mix just seems like it's missing something during the middle 8 part. I'm sure if we heard the non-rap version of BMTL, it wouldn't sound as though something was missing there as much (though it might in some respects). Idk how to explain it. Do you guys know what I mean?

Do you guys know what I mean? Yeah, I've thought about this too. You're right. But for me, I like the male vocals and it definitely doesn't seem complete without them. If anything, I think they actually add a lot of depth to the long. Amy said that she felt they "date" the song, but personally, I disagree. When you think about it, they're not exactly 'rap' vocals in the bridge, and he's not exactly rapping. He even screams as it goes back into the chorus. The whole thing was pulled off in a very fitting, rock'n'roll manner. Had it have been Mike Shinoda on the track like what they originally tried to work out, maybe it would have come across as a bit more 'rap' since he is actually a rapper Didn't they originally have a solo in that bridge section instead of the male vocals? It's on one or two of the demo versions. That would have been cool to keep in if they didn't go with the male vocals. Also live, now that John's not there to do them, it really does feel a bit lost, at least it did when I saw them. Once again, I totally think they could still do the bridge but put a solo in there instead. Everybody loves solos!
