Yeah, it sounds like an echo pedal and some kind of customisable phaser, he's changing the settings on the controls whilst holding notes down on the guitar. Not particularly up on John's rig, but he seems to be having a lot of fun with it here!

Ah my bad. I assumed it was John because it didn't sound like Terry or Ben's tone and it definitely doesn't sound like it's going through an Orange amp. I don't really listen back to many concerts where John was playing lead because I'm not so much a fan of his guitar playing style. I think I'm right in saying that Troy was using a different kind of amp/pedal set up in 2007 (which I'd completely forgotten about), so it's probably his flanger/delay and some kind of wah/volume control, maybe?
