This video is just beautiful........brings back strongly so many wonderful memories: downloading Ev3 when it first came out / being so over-excited going to the shows / buying Ev t-shirts / the buzz that was on here - everything about this era. Happy times

Truth be told, I think they could have done a better job with the flow. My first thought when I saw it was "Whoever put those clips together has no sense of rhythm". But I wasn't disappointed at all. I know that this is not the professional video we all wanted but it comes from the heart that's what's most important. The band did this for us, the fans. It's their way to thank us for the support and we must be happy we got such a heartfelt message on Valentine's day. Love is all around

Sweet, now I get the word SWEET on Amy's twitter when she was teasing us. It IS a sweet video, indeed. Simple and beautiful. It definitely recalls everything that's been through the Evanescence 3 era. Loved it! And Chile is in video. The first fans that were seen from the van, where you can actually see Tim.. Those are Chilean fans! I kinda feel part of the video haha!

There were a couple of moments where the video was a little out of sync with the audio, but gosh that was lovely. I've never seen Evanescence live, so I don't have the instant flood of memories and excitement that others do, but I think this was just perfect.

I feel awful because although I love the idea itself and appreciate the work they put into making this video for the fans, I can't help but think that the way the video is cut and flows is terrible. For that reason I couldn't enjoy it as much as I'd liked. So, just to clarify - I do LOVE the video, I just hate the way that it was edited, because if it had flowed better, it really would have been really beautiful. But like I said, it's an AMAZING idea and I love Ev even more for making such a tribute to the fans - that I do appreciate. I actually think it's edited pretty well, considering. This is not something that could have ever been a polished product, no matter who edited it. There are small moments where the flow is a little off (but this is usually because of the vast difference in quality of the clips used), but there are even more moments where it syncs up extremely well with the music. Notably, the "run away" and "all away" parts, as well as several parts where the image changes with the beat of the song, and lots of the fan shots and non-concert footage falls in a good place. I also like that it is completely free of cheesy transition effects that would likely have been liberally sprinkled over a fan made video. I have no problems with the quality of the clips, I think it's great that the band have strung all these clips together, my issue was with the cutting. It's hard to explain, but sometimes when they went from one clip to another, it looked like there was a split second clip of something else in between and that was the problem I had with it, that's what stopped it from flowing the way it should have. That was my only niggle. I'm actually feeling really inspired to make my own version of the video now. May give it a go this weekend.

We have to put it into perspective. 1. They had to sift through a bazillion recordings, probably, and not only include as mich of them as possible, but find the best moments to go with the music. 2. These were lots of different performances, and probably played with different tempo, enunciation, feeling, etc. so of course some of it would be a tad out of sync. I appreciate the effort, and believe they spent hours and hours editing and all. Fan made vids probably didnt have to deal with as many recordings. What's sad is it feels a little like goodbye for a long time. I know we're in hiatus, but I'm really hoping it wont be too long of one.

I really don't know so many things about the relations between the band and their label.I don't know how you guys feel about this, but that video increased my hate for Wind Up somehow. (and of course my respect and love for Amy and the band <3)

When they originally said about making the LIP video, I thought it was going to be edited professionally and released as an official music video. Really sad that this era only gave us 2 music videos.

The idea of the video and the message it sends is waaaaayyyyy better then the video itself...I mean it got me really emotional thinking of when the new album was first released to my first Ev concert ever. With that said though, I hate the editing. I feel that it was just thrown together and poof! LIP video! But still. Not a lot of bands do these kind of things for their fans so I really appreciate Amy and everyone involved for making it happen and it defiantly made this V-day more special!! <3

I'm a little bit biased because most of the footage of the video is from shows I went to, so it's extra special for me

Loved it. Loved the message of it. It just bugs me that apparently Amy paid for this herself, since it says "produced by Evanescence", I've come to translate "produced" to "pay", so that's what I got from it. It doens't even seem well edited.

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a bit disappointed with the video. But then once you realise that Amy and guys produced it themselves, it means so much. :') Definitely a sweet Valentine's Day. Also, STFU Wind-Up.

Gosh, too much sweetness to handle. Of course this is not professionally edited , (but basically we have a professional vid of LIP thanks to AmpRocktv) but put in perspective I like the editing. They must've gotten hundreds of footage and I feel quite sorry for the editors. Most parts matched and I love the small pieces where fans appeared. It brings back some awesome memories! Screw you Wind-Up. Love you, Ev!

I thought we would get Your Love at least... which it'd be perfect/appropriate for V-day. Also, I'm not impressed with the video itself, but the whole idea is sweet.
