It's weird... although part of me doesn't like it to wait that long, the other part really wants it. Creating a good album needs time for sure and it's fine by me if it take even a year, as long as the band constantly work on it and make demo after demo to finally record a well polished album 'exactly' how they want it to be at the studio.
Let's wait and see how things go in the next few months.

I'm glad to hear that Ev and WT were not just thrown together to tour, because I thought it sounded forced. There was some connection in there.
Now we know The Chain is a Ev project, and not solo. I can't wait to hear the full thing! Also, I think the new album will take more time... We all know they have that big pile of songs ("broken record" included?), but maybe we'll see some brand new songs this time around. There may have a song dedicated to her late brother, Robby. I hope there's more harp songs. haha

Yes, I hope so, too! I really like that!
But I hope, the new album won't sound like Within Temptation's 'Resist' or 'Hydra' album ... don't like that pop rock / metal sound. :/
Hopefully we'll get some more info 'soon'... and some demos. I am not that interested in that game cover song though to be honest (have no connections to that topic).
Nice interview. I really wonder, what the setlist will be like and if (or how) they do songs together. I might be as well going to one of those concerts. I would really appreciate if Within Temptation do some older songs I really like, for example 'Deceiver of Fools', 'Caged', 'Forsaken' or 'Pearls of Light' (there is some harp sound in it  )... but well. ._.
