My brain is giving me a hard time tonight and, knowing that I won't be able to fall asleep even if I go to bed, I'm just sitting and listening on repeat on Spotify.

It's been available in the UK since midnight here. It's a beautiful song...better than the original I think

This is kinda what it should have been on TOD. Although, the first I heard it back then I remember the same thing I am thinking now, WHY IS IT NOT LONGER?!

The more I listen to the Synthesis songs the more it makes me think that sometimes Evanescence sometimes put guitars on songs that don't necessarily need them

I love this version, except that she cuts out the "blame it on me" on the first part and it just sounds so awkward to me.

I love this version but I don't think it's better than the original. I might be biased because TOD is my favorite album.

I will unashamedly say I think this Synthesis version is better than the TOD version and I loved TOD! This is just on an entirely different level!

I really like this one a lot! Probably even more than the original. But I also have to admit that I miss the guitar solo. Terry had such a strong influence on TOD.

I also love this track. I think would probably be my second favorite song, but I need to wait and hear the entire album before I make it a definite second favorite from the album.
P.S. I guess I know what I'm listening to all day tomorrow at work. lol.

Two things-
1) I miss the opening sound. It was weird, dark and I liked it. I always got the imagery of someone trapped in a coffin pounding to get out. I have no idea why, lmao.
2) I never knew the choir was singing the word "Lacrymosa". Unless it was changed that way for this song. You can also hear Amy sing "Lacrymosa" too.

I totally agree with you on the spooky sounds. In TOD version you can hear the choir singing the lyrics to Lacrymosa (Mozart's version).
