Hahahahahahaaaa!!!!! That's the very first thing I thought when I first read about We Are The Fallen, "That's not your name." But I don't hate them or anything. I actually really like their album. Kinda reminded me of what most people would have expected from a second Evanescence album. The Open Door is far superior in my opinion. But still. I don't think their music/band is anything Amy would bother herself to write a song about. But you could be correct. We'll never know what Amy writes ALL her songs about. She's not the "Bitch" some make her out to be

Didn't their album come out around the time Ev was writing/recording the Lillywhite sessions? So it's possible.

The thing with We Are The Fallen is that they've based their whole album on Fallen, there's nothing really new there. I love how every Evanescence album is so different to another that we can literally place every song in an era by it's sound

I hadn't actually listened to this song properly after all this time, but I have and from the lyrics the first thing that came to mind was We Are The Fallen with "because that's not your name". Never thought it could be about WATF, don't know why, it's pretty fitting. I have been wondering what the song could be based on cause she sounds so angry, more than usual, the lyrics are straight forward, but now that you mention it, makes total sense. It's probably about that. Man, songs like Take Cover make me so curious to know what really went down back in the day.

Amy said during the BUILD interview that Take Cover is from the Lillywhite Sessions.

I'm really excited to learn that they're going to be using re-recording Take Cover for The Bitter Truth. I really like the song, and on top of all that I don't think they'd be adding it if they hadn't reworked it somehow and the bridge in particular seemed very much unfinished in the live version. So I'm excited to see / hear what they came up with!

I think this song along with the Chain and Cruel Summer shouldn't be under "Other Works" anymore

The old version we got in live shows was intriguing musically but I found myself wanting something a little more. That was totally accomplished on TBT. I am LIVING for the album version. Those heavy riffs in the bridge and lyrical change "'Cause I never lost my crown"? AMAZING.

Yeah, TC is DEFINITELY better sounding on the studio version. I loved it already before but they really improved it. Also I'm glad we get a studio version because I couldn't bare the quality of the live.

Yeah I think this is one of my favorites which I am surprised about. The love the new lyrics and those super heavy guitars in the bridge and at the end blew me away

I've always been a fan of this song since it was played live in 2016, but now I love it even more. The bridge is just wow! And the "cause I never lost my crown" line is like Amy putting value on herself.
And has someone noticed the turntable throughout the song?

Gosh, the improvements to this one makes it sound like a completely different song to what was debuted live.

I don't know why but I'm getting witchy vibes from this song? I think it's because of the drums in the beginning.....
Anyway, I love this song. To me, it's the second darkest song in the album. I applied witchy association with it already lol
