I love WatchMojo and I'm pleasantly surprised this video exists and actually pretty ok with the list itself (the top 2 were predictable though). I'm surprised nobody shared this hear yet though. Evanescence and Amy Lee has showed up on other lists (Frontwoman of Heavy Metal and Hard Rock and Influential Nu-Metal Bands). Thoughts?
10. Hello 9. What You Want 8. Good Enough 7. My Heart is Broken 6. Everybody's Fool 5. Lithium 4. Going Under 3. Call Me When You're Sober 2. My Immortal Honorable Mentions: All That I'm Living For, Lost in Paradise, Sweet Sacrifice, Imaginary, My Last Breath 1. Bring Me to Life

"Evan-Escence..." kudos to the guy for doing his research though. I figured it's only going to be a bunch of singles with the most popular topping the Top 5 but I'm glad at the inclusion of Hello and MLB (even if it's just an honorable mention). Also surprised at GE placing that high, I thought it's one of Ev's underrated songs. CMWYS remains their best single though

I think it's incredibly underrated and never understood the lack of love for it.

One time they had a countdown for women in metal, and they pronounced Simone Simons' name like Sea-mone Sea-mons. It was awkward. XD Personally I'm not crazy about this list but I'm happy they did a countdown. Maybe someone who hasn't listened to Ev much but likes WatchMojo will hear a song or two they like and end up being a superfan. You never know.

I honestly don't understand how BMTL is #1 considering all of the other songs that were on the list
I also love how What You Want follows Hello. It shows just how diverse Ev's songs can be

I think there's a thread on this board to post our own top 10 Ev songs. I think I promissed a list a few times, it's simply impossible for me to choose 10 songs without changing my mind after writing the list down. Besides, Ev songs are so different from each other, sometimes I only want to hear the slow, sad ones, sometimes I'm angry and want to blast Sweet Sacrifice and sometimes I just wan to have fun with WYW and Say you will.

It's a pretty decent list. BMTL being #1 is totally predictable, that's the song that started it all for our beloved EV.

BMTL is the only Evanescence song I still hear played on the radio.
E-minor is a beautiful key, it's well deserved.

I really love the way the guy describes some of these songs. I always think of Ev songs in a very Amy-centric way, which isn't wrong because they're all hers, but I suppose that means I haven't thought about what the songs mean from an outside perspective. The description for Good Enough was especially nice. EDIT: Also, I just checked out the YouTube comments. Someone said something dumbish, and someone else responded with "Comment when you're sober," and that is now my favourite thing ever.

Everytime I've listened to Going Under, it's always been that song about that abusive boyfriend Amy had. But they way they described it as a song for anyone who's ever felt unappreciated, it changed that song for me. Like...this song could mean as much to me as it does to Amy.
