Dr. Luke is a famous producer that wrote and produced songs such as "Circus" and "Till the World Ends" for Britney Spears, "I Kissed a Girl", "California Gurls", and "Roar" for Katy Perry, "Tik Tok" for Kesha, and "Who Knew" for P!nk.
Hypothetically, if it was announced that Amy Lee and Dr. Luke are working on a song, how do you think you would react?

I believe in Amy. no matter what. even if she releases an empty disk and asks us to listen to it, I'll definitely do that without hesitate.

Out of all of the pop music that I've been subjected to, I usually find myself enjoying the songs produced/co-written by Dr Luke, so I'd actually be kinda keen for it. I mean, he's responsible for the only Miley Cyrus song I've ever liked ("Wrecking Ball"), and he's also worked with The Veronicas ("4ever", "Everything I'm Not"), Kelly Clarkson ("Since You Been Gone", "Behind These Hazel Eyes", "My Life Would Suck Without You"), Avril Lavigne ("Girlfriend", "Keep Holding On", "I Can Do Better", "I Don't Have To Try", "I Will Be", "Runaway") and Marina and the Diamonds ("Primadonna", "Lies", "How to Be a Heartbreaker"). So when I hear that Dr Luke has written a recent pop song, I usually feel pretty confident that I'll like it.

Well, I do trust Amy and he's written some pretty catchy tunes. So I guess I'd wait until I heard the music until I started to judge it.

Seems like an Amy Lee reinvention is in the mix!!!!! This is so exciting. Seems like they are going to try to market her to a big audience as a solo artist. This is so awesome if it is true. Also, doesn't mean she is going to go all bubble gumm pop. She has her convictions.
EDIT: ooops, read that wrong. didn't see the hypothetically. Sorry

Amys not going to make music she doesn't like, and generally the music she releases to us is stuff that she really loves and we love it too so why wouldn't we also love this as well. In saying that she's not going to work with some one that she doesn't jell with. i think we have more chance of her going back to record with Lilly White.
But I think it would be really cool if she got solo stuff in the charts like a more emotional Katy Perry type music with more piano/keys and awesome synth lines and just loads of vocal Harmonies. I want a Choir of Amy Lees voice on a record.

There are other people that i would love to see Amy work with and i think they could make great music together, BUT i guess i would keep an open mind. Like you guys said, there's no way Amy would put out something she isn't at peace with, especially now that she's free from Win-Up and doesn't have to stick to a certain sound or style. She doesn't have to work with people the label impose her, either. So far i've liked everything Amy has put out, with or without Evanescence, so i don't see why i wouldn't like this. I guess i would wait and see.
Now, what i really want is an Amy or Ev album produced by Steve Lillywhite.

I wouldn't see them working together. If they did a thing with Dave Eggar I might pay more attention, but eh. I would rather stick to what I know. Suppose it would depend really. I don't see their styles mixing all that well.

I think that would be totally odd, but I have 100% faith in Amy.

NOPE. Danja or GTFO.
If you don't know him buy Britney's "Blackout", best pop album of the last decade.

Well, according to the Pop Guilty Pleasure thread, Amy likes E.T. by Katy and that was produced by Dr. Luke so maybe if she were to collaborate with Dr. Luke it would probably sound something like that. Anyway, I'm a bit indifferent. On one hand, Dr. Luke does recycle some of his stuff (pretty much most Pop producers recycle their stuff) but his are the most blatant ones but on the other hand, when he makes "original" songs they are pretty good (Behind These Hazel Eyes (Kelly Clarkson), Who Knew (Pink), Teenage Dream (Katy), Circus (Britney)). NOPE. Danja or GTFO. If you don't know him buy Britney's "Blackout", best pop album of the last decade. It would be really interesting to hear an Amy Lee song in the vein of Gimme More or Break the Ice. A Bloodyshy collab would be pretty sweet too, imagine an Amy Lee version of Toxic.

I certainly wouldn't be surprised. 'Predictable' isn't a word I'd use to describe her. Could be a really interesting combo.

I want a Choir of Amy Lees voice on a record. It could just be because you mentioned Katy Perry and her song, "Roar", is incredibly similar to "Brave" by Sara Bareilles, but I could see Amy being a pop artist just like Sara. Both have incredible vocal talent, and write songs that are both catchy and have a lot of content (read: their lyrics aren't vapid and about clubs and parties).
