I just went to check the Legends and Lyrics website and they've kinda updated it with this, I'm not sure what it means and I couldn't find any more information....but hopefully it means we are one step closer Hopefully a partnership is what they needed to help get the content out there for us patient fans to enjoy Strange how they haven't elaborated though, as they have with the other updates they have posted on their website. Someone else might have more information

The hype is completely dead. Would releasing it even be profitable for them at this point?

So I decided to get in contact with them just to see if we could an update. Here's the conversation:
"I'm here from the evthreads fan website for Evanescence. With the recent tour fans have been clamoring for new music - as such, do you guys have any information on the season 2 release? The last we heard anything was in the spring and any news would be welcomed.
Thank you"
Their response:
"Dear Chris: We are working hard trying to get Season Two released. It has been very difficult and complex. No none wants this released more than we do ... We trying to assemble investors to put up the capital which is needed to able to release the Legends & Lyrics shows. We are a very small company working in an environment of large organizations. How many fans are members of the evthreads fan website? We are working on a strategy of getting Amy Lee's large fan base to help us convince others that the world wants this released. Let me know! Thanks for being a fan!
Legends & Lyrics"
So it seems like they have some kind of crowd funding planned or something with us involved. How many of us ARE there anyway?

Well there are 1,043 at the moment I checked. But so many never posted or have stopped coming. So the number of active member is probably mor like 50-75 at max and I doubt it's even that high. Wonder what they are planning. A Kickstarter or something?

The active members here wouldn't be the only ones contributing to a crowd funding attempt if they were to make one, though. I'm sure if Amy shared the campaign (which I imagine she would), we'd have at least a thousand people to contribute. At the very least.

In other words they want Amy's fans to convince the world to pony up the $ to fund releasing season 2. That's never going to happen; it's one thing for EV fans to fund the release of Amy's episode, it's another thing for the fan base to find the means and influence to source the funding for their entire season. They struck out in finding funding from commercial sources over the last 6-8 months since their last "update"; of course they failed, they have nothing but 5-year-old footage. We have little hope of ever seeing Amy's performance outside of them giving the content away since it has little commercial value.

SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY But seriously, I think a kickstarter could at least kickstart something. If we managed to get Amy involved, it would help a shed load. The five year old footage thing could be a major hindrance since few people other than Evheads actually care about footage that old (granted, we care a lot, and if the thousands of Evheads who don't know about Your Love get wind of it that there's this incredible unheard song floating around out there, they'd go absolutely nuts for it), so I think supporting an entire unreleased season may be a pretty big expectation. It may just be a case of we (the fans) fund enough to get that one episode out in some form (probably online since I can't really see a broadcaster releasing just one episode), and maybe if they get some success and interest from that they may have the funding and viewer-base to build it up slowly from there. Lots of 'ifs' though. Either way, I definitely want to back this and I'm sure others would, too (although I kind of wish there wasn't any red tape and they'd just put it up on Youtube and be done with it ).

Or maybe...just a tought like this...we could try to reach the fanbase of the other artists featured. There was Gavin Degraw, I believe there is still people interested in his music out there. Maybe the dude himself could help us. Do we know any other artists that were invited and is a big name?

Maybe the dude himself could help us. Do we know any other artists that were invited and is a big name? Not a bad plan at all. I think the disadvantage we have there is that Amy was one of the biggest names (most of the musicians I've seen on trailers seem to have been from the folk and country world, and for some reason these genres don't get nearly the same exposure as rock music in this day and age), so the support from other artist fan bases would likely be smaller. That said. I'm pretty sure 3 Doors Down are pretty huge and they were on one of the episodes and the more people working together, the better (:

We would need to figure out who were on the other shows and see if their fanbases are also desperate for L&L. Maybe there was another artist who had a rare performance of a unreleased song on the show.

I gave up on this a long long time ago. It's sad though.
