This song has an excellent video that's simple yet has just enough in it to make you want to watch it. On the single itself, I don't think it does TOO enough justice, because the whole album is a complete work of art.

One of my favorite singles for sure. And one of my favorite videos from that era as well.

The music video drives me crazy, it's so fast, but I love the ending and I love her dress!

i think this might be one of their angriest songs. I love the bridge where she screams! SO POWERFUL! And then there is the poem in the background

SS is definitely an angry song! xD
I love it how it starts on a high key, as well as how it builds up later on. Amy's vocals really have given a soul to those enraging lyrics. I don't even have to be in the mood for that song in order to feel its angry vibe. And I must say, I love it! xD
There also goes that part with Amy's monologue-like dark, deep low voice combined with her vocals. So epic! :3

Hey, I hoped that in this thread I could find some more information about what exactly happened after the SS single release, when fans wanted to hear it from the radio...

Hey, I hoped that in this thread I could find some more information about what exactly happened after the SS single release, when fans wanted to hear it from the radio... Basically fans kept harassing the radio stations, however they could, to play the song and the radio stations got annoyed so they didn't play it or only played it a few times. Not sure if this happened world wide or if it only happen in a certain country.

European countries and not have full release world wide/was recalled in many countries? Or did I misunderstood the question?

I'm not sure whether the single being almost blacklisted by some stations has anything to do with it being cancelled, I think the change in the lineup might have caused WU to cancel it. Anyway, it was supposed to be just a typical radio request "mob" (just like what fans did for CMWYS and Lithium), unfortunately, the "mob" turned into an actual mob. Just for clarification, not everyone who participated were harassing the djs, there were only a few who were actually doing that. The song wasn't a total flop though, it peaked at #24 on the Billboard Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks which is higher than Lithium's peak on that chart.

I only heard SS on the radio once on the graveyard shift after midnight, so...
Of course, I do live in Australia, and we have, like, one radio station where I live.
