I just wanted to say, if anyone comes across the acoustic performance of BMTL in the German acoustic show, could you post it? And I mean the professional recording of it.
I"m dying to have it in good quality. I really love that rendition of it.

YES! Thank you. ;D And that's my favourite part too. Simple changes like that can really make a difference, especially when we are all so used to the original after all these years.

LOL. Found a video of WWE promoting Ev and Fallen when BMTL was the theme for a 2003 paperview event.

I just don't see that happening. Well, to be fair - I remember when I first heard BMTL, I honestly thought they sounded like a female version of Linkin Park. But it was based on that one song, and it was more Paul McCoy's doing than Ev's. If they had released the Bliss Mix instead of the Fallen version, I doubt I would have thought that at all. But then again, I have a feeling the song wouldn't have done as well as it did if it weren't for the male vocals, it helped the song stand out as well as Amy's amazing vocals. It was unlike anything I had ever heard at that time.

Oh, that's true. It changed the globe in that one fantastic moment when Amy's sweet voice made itself known.

If anyone's interested, I made a studio edit of the version they now perform live (the one without the line "I've been sleeping a thousand years, it seems..." You can listen to it below and download it from the YouTube page. The pitch in the video has been changed to bypass restrictions but the download is unaltered

My first Evanescence song! <3 I was so shocked when I heard Amy's voice because I'd never heard anyone sing the beautiful way she does. I've been hearing this song all the time on the radio lately...

I still have so much love for this song. I don't think BMTL could ever bore me, but their music has changed so much since Fallen, but in a good way.

That snippet of the Legends and Lyrics version haunts me to this very day. I'd been wanting a piano version of BMTL for so long and then they teased me. -_-
