^I thought it was? I read in a couple articles that "they write songs about each other". Idk though. I don't follow Seether. It's kind of a shame they both had to go through all that... However, I'm still confused as to why Ben has remained so silent about things with the only exception being that old post on the former EvThreads. I might be going slightly off-topic here, but was it really him? I think so. I think that post actually originated from Ben's personal page thing or something. I'm not sure and I don't really care about it because I didn't really like Ben.

I see...
As for Shaun, there are rumours he's written a couple of songs or so about Amy but I don't think those rumours have ever gotten confirmed.

Hey, I haven't made up those rumours myself! EDIT: Here you go: noise.typepad.com/local_music_beat/2011/05/seether-frontman-shaun-morgan-talks-amy-lee-country-song.html"Yeah, I did write some songs that were complete lash backs, but those I knew were never intended to be used, they were just for me, personally. I'm not going to say that some songs don't touch on that subject, but not in an obvious fashion. I'm never going to air out anybody else's dirty laundry. That's not who I want to be. And I think that was the route she felt she needed to take. ... But I'm telling you, as much as you've just given me accolades, it was a tough decision to make."

So he's written personal songs about her that haven't been released? And as far as I'm concerned, I don't think Amy aired out his dirty laundry. It was obvious he had some sort of problem since anytime one would see him in ABH he's be buzzed, have a beer in one hand and/or a cigarette in the other. They would also smoke and drink onstage... I'm sorry, but when I go to see a band, I'd rather hear the music and singing through clear heads and clear voices.

I personally couldn't care less whether or not a musician is drinking and/or smoking on stage, as long as they're doing their job well. What I meant to say earlier by providing that quotation though, were simply rumours made up by other people on the vast Internet. Implying those were just speculations, not me stating them myself.

Seether's song 'Breakdown' has always seemed to be about Amy and the 'Call Me When You're Sober' thing to me.

Maybe I'm slow, but I think I just figured out what she meant by "sickened in the sun". Lol.

I've my own interpretation but I'm not completely sure, so please do tell. ;D I think..."sickened" = obviously Ben's bipolar disorder, and Amy's dad said once that Ben had always been "moody" ( ) but that when they started getting big, he kinda cracked under the pressure and became really unpredictable. So I think "in the sun" refers to being in the spotlight and becoming famous. Then "sickened in the sun" would mean that being suddenly so big and famous affected his mindset and his bipolar disorder, and caused him to do things like Amy described in the song. Just had a little revelation this morning, lol.

Wow, thanks for the analysis, guys! I couldn't have figured that one line on my own, really. :/
But wait... Ben is bipolar? How do you know that?

Really cool interpretation!
And, aren't we all a little bipolar ourselves? ;D
