Lyrics:
Where Will You Go - The Evanescence EP Version:This version begins with an organ and the vocals are much slower.0:00 - 0:25
You're too important for anyone
There's something wrong with everything you see
But I, I know who you really are
You're the one who cries when your alone
Where will you go
With no one left to save you from yourself
You can't escape
You don't want to escape
1:08 - 1:20
However did you manage to push away
From every living thing you come across
So afraid that anyone will hate you
You pretend you hate them first
Where will you go
With no one left to save you from yourself
You can't escape the truth
I realize you're afraid
But you can't refrain from everything, mmm
You can't escape
You can't escape
I'm so sick of speaking words that no one understands
Is it clear enough that you can't live your whole life all alone
I can hear you when you whisper
But you can't even hear me screaming
And where will you go
With no one left to save you from yourself, Oooh
You can't escape the truth
I realize you'te afraid
But you can't reject the whole world
You can't escape
You won't escape
You can't escape
You don't want to escape
3:30 - 3:53
Song:
Where Will You Go - Origin Version:This version begins with a piano and guitar intro. Back up vocals are by David Hodges. Back ups will be in italics.0:00 - 0:22
You're too important for anyone
You play the role of all you long to be
But I, I know who you really are
You're the one who cries when you're alone
But where will you go
With no one left to save you from yourself
You can't escape
You can't escape me
1:00 - 1:10
You think that I can't see right through your eyes
Scared to death to face reality
No one seems to hear your hidden cries
You're left to face yourself alone
But where will you go (
Where will you go)
With no one left to save you from yourself
You can't escape the truth
I realize you're afraid (
I realize)
But you can't abandon everyone
You can't escape
You don't want to escape
I'm so sick of speaking words that no one understands
Is it clear enough that you can't live your whole life all alone
I can hear you in a whisper
But you can't even hear me screaming
Where will you go (
Where will you go)
With no one left to save you from yourself, hoo oh
You can't escape the truth
I realize you're afraid (
I realize)
But you can't reject the whole world
You can't escape
You won't escape
You can't escape
You don't want to escape
3:03 - 3:12
Yeah yeah yeah
Yeah yeah yeah (
ahh ah ah ahh)
Yeah yeah yeah (
yeah yeah - ahh ah ah ahh)
Yeah yeah yeah (
yeah yeah - ahh ah ah ahh)
Yeah yeah yeah (
yeah yeah - ahh ah ah ahh)
Yeah yeah yeah (
yeah yeah - ahh ah ah ahh)

Some Things To Think About/Debate Over:
-The second line of this, 'There's something wrong with everything you see' (from the EP version) appears in the Origin booklet as a error for the WWYG Origin lyrics.
-The Origin version HAS been played Live @ the TNT Powerhouse, Arkansas on Feb. 03, 2001. It was the seventh song played. Unfortunatly, the audio for this has not been released or found yet.
-The WWYG Reprise is the end of Anywhere - the 'yeah, yeahs.' It lasts for 41 seconds. Early EvBoard/MLB posters began wondering what this was, since this appeared as Track #9 of the Origin Re-Release. They responded with this:
The "Reprised" version that you mention belongs to the last part of the song Anywhere, where Amy and David say "Hey yeah, hey yeah..." this is not a single track it's part of the song and it's sometimes mentioned as if it was another song... (on bootleg/pirat versions of Origin)
The versions known so far are:
Where Will You Go? (EP Version) or (Demo Version)
Where Will You Go? (Origin Version)
Where Will You Go? (Reprised on Anywhere)
DoubleA has the 2003 Re-Release of Origin and says that the WWYG Reprise is the WWYG Origin Version, since their WWYG is the EP Version (i.e. as Track #5). Ultimatly what ended up happening was that people assumed the WWYG Reprise (track after Anywhere on the bootleg) was the 'yeah yeahs' at the end of Anywhere and they assumed they cut the Reprise from Anywhere, leaving the song as 'Anywhere (No Reprise)' and, as a seperate track, the 'Where Will You Go (Reprise)' (i.e. the 'yeah-yeahs'). This happened since they questioned what ELSE could WWYG Reprise be if not that, right? What they didn't know was that the WWYG (track 4) on the bootleg was the EP version and the WWYG after Anywhere was the Origin version, hence the confusion. Note various discographies which label Anywhere as Anywhere + WWYG Reprise:
8. Anywhere [& Where Will You Go - Reprise] <6:02>
SOURCE-On the bootleg
Le Nouveau Gothique the song "Origin" blends into the EP Version of "Where Will You Go?" This blend creates the (Bootleg-Only) song Where Will You Go (Origin Intro), since it tries to simulate a seam-less blend into the song, much like The Change blends into MHIB, Like You blends into Lose Control, or Tourniquet blends into Imaginary.
